I bought this curtain to use as a privacy curtain on the pergola over my hot tub, and it has proven to be a great purchase. Curtains made specifically for pergolas all had rings and required a rod to hang, and mine has a track with hooks, so needed something different than the norm. The fabric is thick, it's weight keeps it from billowing, and it dries quickly after a rain. The taupe color is great for the Florida sun because even if it fades, it'll be hardly noticeable. It's only been up a week, so I can't speak to longevity, but I expect to have to replace anything used outdoors fairly regularly because of the harsh sun, constant humidity, and hurricanes. I had a unique problem. I have a west facing window in my shower, so during the afternoon, when the temperature is at it's highest, my bathroom would heat up, regardless of the central air (this is an upstairs bathroom). To keep the sun from heating up the whole upstairs, I'd have to close the bathroom door. I just put the new one up, and it is providing great shade. Used it for a shower the first time of the day. I love that it is lightweight. The rings slide easily on the rod and the magnets make it great, no water gets out of the shower. And it looks good. It is very lightweight, but still is not see through. I use it with a 100% clear shower curtain liner, and still can't see through the curtain. Overall it works as advertised. I haven't tested it's water resistance intentionally, but incidental water contact went unnoticed.

Appearance wise, I like this a lot. The material feels like cheap polyester, has that nails on a chalkboard feel when you touch it, and itโ€™s definitely cheaply made (two of the metal pieces on holes popped off before I even hung it), but for the price Iโ€™ll continue to use it until I find something else. I like the quality of the fabric. Good weight. I don't like the flat linen texture. In the natural color I bought, it looks too much like a canvas tarp. I'm going to keep it and repurpose it.
