The APP can adjust speed, brightness, and you also can adjust the channel order when you light up red the LED strip is green, you can calibrate this.
- Only Support SK6812 RGBW,SM16704 RGBW,UCS2904 RGBW,WS2814 RGBW,TM1824 RGBW LED strip. DC5V, DC12V, or DC24V. Voltage depends on your LED strip. If you use DC5V LED strip lights, please use DC5V power supply, Do not use DC12V or DC24V power supply to supply. If the effect is stuck or the end of the LED strip is progressively darker, please add voltage to the LED strip in time. This is a normal physical phenomenon, and all the LED strip cannot avoid this problem
- Color calibration. When the app color is inconsistent with the color of the LED strip, where green is blue and blue is green ,You can use the APP to calibrate the colors to make them consistent.
- Insufficient power supply will cause the controller to lose control, the color of the LED strip is frozen, remote cannot be used, and the Bluetooth is disconnected . Please note : When you Light up 1 color(red or green or blue or pure white) 0.1W/LED . 2 colors (red+green) 0.2W/LED , 3 colors (red+green+blue=mixed white) 0.3W/LED.If you don't know which power supply can be used for your LED project, you can email us.

BTF-Lighting made a fantastic controller here that works flawlessly with Bluetooth and has a robust app with BanlanX with great options, unlike most other RGB IC LED items on Amazon that require Wi-Fi or have apps that are lacking in options. Music sync is my favorite and with this controller, the paired LED item can dance with the music. Not only that, they went out of their way to help me troubleshoot a project I was trying to create with a different company's RGB IC LED strip and this controller. I had done some Arduino drivers / boards for WS28xx lights. They worked well enough but wanted to sychronized with music - I could have done it on my own but buying this product was actually cheaper. I'm using 1 controller to run four 5 meter strings of 5v WS2812b 150 leds with power injection at each string. No heat or other issues at the controller. Does good music detection but needed some tinkering with the location / direction of the controller to work at its best. Once that was done - very happy with result and neighbors entertained by my exterior XMas lights (what it controllers). Downside: I'm using with an Amazon Echo and a Hubitat hub. It would be great if I could control locally but you need to set up an online "Fairy Light" account (after downloading the app) to control. So "cloud" aka Internet connection IS required to use. Positives: The controller does keep / record the last setting. So I can just signal to turn on without having to worry about reconfiguring every time.

I got this controller to add more lighting to my nephews bedroom. How amazing that this controller can do so much more than other brands like Govee and Philipps Hue... pair these with WS2812B LED Light Strips from BTF-Lighting and the setup couldn't be any easier at the fraction of the cost! The lights are bright and the preset patterns will make any room they're in so much fun. They even respond to music being played, my 13 year old nephew loves them! His room is now so much fun, his friends keep wanting to come over! Great job BTF-Lighting!

This worked well for my use case. I originally thought I received a defective product and many probably know this, but these SK6812RGBW LED strips are not bidirectional so it will not work going in the opposite direction. This seems obvious now. The other thing is this controller doesn't actually need to be powered from the barrel plug. It seems to work just fine receiving power from the pos/neg leads which makes wiring a bit easier.

Great controller and the app works great! Auto connects every time I pull it up and easy to change and configure. At first I thought it was broken, but I realized I just had to go through calibration. Super bright and so many modes to pick from.

This device (SP501E) doesn't work properly. It won't connect to my wifi. The manufacturer has a youtube video describing the wifi connection process, and you can see from the comments there, my experience is basically what you should expect. There's limited, spotty compatibility with wifi routers, and if you don't happen to have the right one, you're just out of luck. Just to be clear about what's tried so far: - I have 2.4g and 5g wifi. First, this already exposes a significant product failure. Its default/automatic operating mode is incompatible with any network that broadcasts a 5g wifi, even if it also broadcasts 2.4g. If you have 5g as well, you have to use "manual" mode for wifi config. Almost every router on the market today does 2.4/5 mix as standard, and disabling it would be a significant detriment to network performance, so nearly everyone is going to have to go into "manual mode" setup, which is a serious pain. My attempt went like this: Phone connected to wifi, led controller lit, I open the app. Choose add device, it detects my wifi correctly, I enter my wifi password (confirming it is correct), choose manual. It instructs to hold down until SLOW white blink. Takes about 8 seconds, about 4 for the quick blink, and the slow blink comes later. At that point I look for and based on the 20 or so times I've tried, ***SOMETIMES*** find the 'SP501E_DE565A' hotspot it's supposed to create, but usually it never even shows. Whatever, just keep trying and eventually it shows - so I connect, again, trying several times before it even manages that but eventually it manages (popping up "has no internet" warnings as one would expect), so I press continue on the phone .. .and after a minute it just pops up a red X with "please try again or try adding devices using automatic mode." (retrying here does not help). Ok fine that's an hour wasted to reach a dead end - message is so fundamentally and completely unhelpful, I don't see any point continuing to pursue that method. So trying a different approach - let's see if nerfing my wifi so I can use automatic mode helps. Want to guess? I open up my wifi, and I disable 5g. Just, if I can get it working at all, maybe I can figure out some way to make it work in not-stupid circumstances right? But no, even that is too much to ask for. I connect my phone to the newly-2.4g-only wireless, go through the app attempt to connect to the device automatically - when prompted press the button on the led controller for about 4 seconds until it does the rapid-white-flash then hit continue, and ...... it spins on "device is networking" for like 2 minutes and then errors. I'm anticipating the manufacturer responding just as they did to others on youtube: Send it back. Let me be clear: This has already wasted enough of my time that the value lost there is far greater than the value of the product, and from the comments on youtube, it does NOT seem like this is an usual experience. If I thought I just had a bad unit I might consider it (though even then, I'd likely be inclined to find a product I could trust instead), but given that my experience seems to be the norm, I'd likely just be repeating the same thing again in, what, a week or two? No, I won't be sending it back - it's just not worth it. Instead, I'll seek out another solution that will work (and can probably be in hand faster than warranty, and will likely cost less than I'd end up spending in shipping), and I'll simply share my experience.
