I had the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 case when I first purchased my phone. It was a good case that offered a lot of bells and whistles that I didn't use, but they added weight to the phone. When that broke (about two years after purchase), I tried another Z Fold phone case that offered a lot of bells and whistles. That phone case had everything except the ability for the phone to be unfolded, which should be a key benefit of a Z Fold case. Without opening to tablet style, the case was worthless. So I returned that case and bought this one from Kaiiecal. It has no bells and whistles and is the best case I've gotten since I purchased my phone. It is lightweight, it opens easily, the screen is clear and sensitive to touch, and the stand is at a perfect angle. I rarely use my S Pen on the go, so having it with me all the time was unnecessary, and actually, was wasted energy managing its whereabouts. If you're in the same boat, this is a perfect case. I just got this case, so these are my initial impressions. The instructions that come with the case mention to peel off the protective film from the screen protector part of the case before installing. It appears there was no protective film that came installed, unless it’s there and I’m just missing it. Second, the instructions mention “small rubber strips” that look like they’re supposed to be installed on the corners of the front screen protector. My package didn’t come with any rubber strips. Once installed on the phone, the fit seems to be pretty good. I opened and closed it a few times and the front cover seems to stay on, which was a problem with other cases I’ve used. The part of the case that covers the phones hing is on a hinge itself. When you open the phone to tablet mode, the hinge cover flattens out to be inline with the back of the phone. I have some concerns that the hinge cover’s hinge might break over time, but we’ll see. A side effect of having the hinge cover is that when the phone is open in tablet mode, the hinge cover sticks out a little further than everything else, which means the phone won’t lay flat when it’s in tablet mode. I don’t think this will be much of an issue for me, but it’s with mentioning. The kickstand seems pretty flimsy, so I’m a little worried about it’s durability, but it’s nice that it’s there. I wish the kickstand was a little more adjustable, so I could make the phone lay more flat while I’m in tablet mode. The built in screen protector for the front screen has a very faint grid pattern when viewed in direct light and some other angles. I’m guessing this has to do with the touch functionality. It’s not very noticeable when the screen is on so I don’t think it will be much of an issue. Despite the negatives I’ve mentioned, I’d like the case overall. I hope after I use it for a few days that it fits my needs. I will provide and updated review if anything is worth mentioning (good or bad). I got the phone case on and I'm so glad I did look thoroughly this time for details granted anything online can be faked but it actually came with more stuff then listed. It had a whole cleaning pack like, alcohol wipes, a cloth, particle collector, rubber applicator strIps and instruction sheet showing you how to get it on the best way so its secure and what to do if it doesn't go correctly. A "warranty" moment if it's broken send it back we will send another. It was listed that it'd be sleek and form fitting to the phone designed so it wouldn't be bulky and it is like perfectly the side protector binding peice, when you open it you don't accidently open that binding peice ive had other cases that everytime you opened the phone itd open. I really liked this case at first—the fit was snug, and it looked great. But I woke up one morning to a crack across the front screen protector. It freaked me out. I took off the front cover, and thankfully my actual phone screen was fine. I don’t remember dropping my phone in the middle of the night, so this is disappointing. I don’t want a case that cracks from something so minor, especially if it’s supposed to protect my phone. I expect durability. After reading other reviews, it seems like the front screen piece is a common issue. It definitely needs to be redesigned so it’s not so easily breakable. ... show more
