    • Poor solder connections
Color: Warm White 3000K Size: DC12V 16.4FT Set name: 528Led/m IP30
I had high hopes for this LED COB strip. Unfortunately, when attempting to solder to the strip, I found it extremely difficult to establish a secure connection. The solder would not adhere, and as a result, the solder joint I established quickly broke under very minimal stress. I did not experience this particular challenge while soldering to other LED strips from other manufacturers. I also evaluated the included connectors. Unfortunately, several of the connectors had adhesive that had been somehow released during shipping and as a result we’re stuck together, rendering them unusable. The usable connectors performed acceptably. There is no way to remove the connectors after securing them to the strip. I’m not sure if I received a defective product or if this is typical for the LED COB type strips, but I was not impressed. Update: BTF-LIGHTING reached out to me and offered to send me a new strip that did not suffer from the defect described above. ... show more

Ordered 2 of these on October 17, 2023. Worked perfectly fine with zero issues. Ordered 1 more roll in February 2025. Flickered within the first week. Removed it and swapped it with the October 2023 strips and the flicker went away. Tried using the remaining 5’ of the February 2025 strip and the flicker came back. Past return date. Took a loss on this. ... show more
