set is not eligible for return ot replacement This set has proportions I adore and its porcelain. Arrives well packed in a beautiful box. The cups are a good size at 8 oz. The sugar bowl lid has a gasket to keep sugar dry. There is a micro perforated strainer that is an excellent fit for the teapot. If you take the strainer out once your tea has brewed the lid on the teapot slips and slides around. The teapot lid does not seat on the teapot, it slides sideways and looks odd.

Looking for a set of cups and the accompaniments for a suitable Tea set, I found this set to be, almost, perfect. The porcelain is simple, beautiful, and well made. My only irritation is that the lid for the tea pot, beautiful as it is, does not fit properly on the tea pot itself once the well designed steel filter is removed. Then the lid is loose and has to be carefully held by the one pouring so it does not flip and fall off the teapot. To leave the steel filter on with the loose tea leaves would make the final tea rather bitter. May I suggest that this flaw would be redesigned and would make this Tea Set all the more perfect? Thank you.

Great set for the cost. We didn’t want a frilly or expensive tea set and this fit the bill. Looks and works well. My only complaint is that the kettle is difficult to clean due to the narrow bottom. Its hard to get your hand and/or brush in the crevices at the bottom

While I was looking for a bone china tea set I came across this one which looked very stately online. I'm not fond of beige or white tea sets at first this one looked very basic from the pictures. However, when I received the package, the tea set was well boxed and everything was intact. I took it all out of the box and washed the set off. I was most impressed that when I used it, honestly, y'all this is the real deal. It could pass as the quality of bone china. It is opaque when you hold it up to the light it has that nice ting sound when you clink it together. I thought I would not like the basic look of the colors but honestly, it is very Royal indeed. I would definitely buy this again or recommend as a gift. Awesome product!
