It works if you wiggle the cord just right. This one is in its 2nd season & going strong. Last years purchase is does not work. The clip works well, holds strong, & is convenient. The flexible arms are still like new. Have gotten water overstay on lights many times with no problems. I would buy it again.

I recently got the Grow Light Plant Lights for Indoor Plants with the clip-on feature, and it’s been a great addition to my indoor gardening setup. So far id say these are great. Seems to be helping my seeds grow pretty fast im just doing flowers and tomato plant. It's made my fl0wers sprout in a few days im amazed haha.

I moved from Texas to Indiana. My poor orchids haven't bloomed in almost 2 years. Many have died. I finally bought this light. I figured it was cheap enough to try. It's working. They're all stiffening up. They were so limp and pale. The leaves actually lifted from the bark soil and into the air in the first 24hrs. I didn't believe it even though I was looking at it. I measured. They're taller. The leaves are firm. One is growing new leaves. I have no idea if the timer is perfect or off like other people say. That's not how I use it. I turn it on when I leave for work, and I just want it to stay on while I'm gone. It does that just fine. They're in my room. I'm going to let the timer go on its own a while, and see if they start turning on earlier. It would wake me up before my alarm if it does. I really don't care because I can easily turn it off and back on. It's just a button. If you're leaving for vacation I can assure you, your plants don't care if the light stays on a perfect schedule. I use it on the highest setting right now with no problems. The clamp is strong. The extention arms are strong. Even if it last a year, I'd be happy and I'd buy it again. It was less than 20 bucks and my orchids, which cost much more than that, are living.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Piece of junk. It no longer turns on after three months on the job. Look elsewhere. UPDATE: The vendor contacted me to give a full refund. Subsequent to writing my original review, I tracked the problem down to the USB power supply that was included in the purchase, not the light itself. After purchasing a new power supply, the lights works as intended. Therefore, I'm revising my rating upward to three stars from one (I did, after all, have to buy a new USB unit).

Update: After a couple months of use one of the light timers isn't working I'm assuming. It shuts off and doesn't come back on unless I turn it back on. Original: Ordered a little late. (After I already brought a few of my plants inside.) So a few of my plants were slightly dead within the three days it took to get here. Thankful fir the fast shipping. I've been moving it around to cover all my plants. And I've already noticed a difference within the couple of weeks I've got it. My large spider plant is trying to sprout new were it died. My orchid cactus cutting has new sprouts, the devils ivy I have is also sprouting new vines and same with wandering dude. I've had it on basically 24/7 unless my 3 year old shuts it off. Hasn't been hot to touch maybe slightly warm. You can chose brightness. Which I've attached pictures of the highest and lowest setting of each color. Also you can have 1, 2, 3 or all lights on. The timer has worked when I tried it. Only complaint is the cord is super short. But over all super happy with my purchase. Will be buying another shortly.
