Ok the lights only last 3 years OR WOW! The lights lasted 3 years! Depends on how much you expect to get out of a $150 pop up tree. Year 4 we just threw some fairy lights on it. We love this tree. We bought a few matching ornaments & green twistie ties in year 1 to fill it out a bit better. The ornaments we bought are still on there. Most of the ornaments that came with the tree are still on there. You’ll have to get creative with a topper, keep it light. But all in all I am honestly impressed. And it’s soooooooooooo easy. I just don’t see going back to a live or giant fake tree. Uck. The work. Pop up trees forever.

Good value for money. A fully appropriated tree with lights up in under 5 minutes. I would say it is about 80% as good as a real tree but very prone to tipping if you have animals. Positives: The tree is much less see-through than many pop-up trees due to its use of plastic holly leafs, tighter spiraling of the fake tree material, use of plastic balls and attached ornaments. When placed against a darker background tree seems much more real. The ribbons used are quality items and not cheap garbage on most. Light density is good and easily replacable. Included are additional ornaments and spare lights which is a huge plus. The tree collapses into a four inch tall pancake easily stored under a bed or in a closet for those appartment dwellers. You can hang additional ornaments easily increasing the density of the tree and the illusion of a solid tree. Negatives: Some ornaments came crushed since the box that is was shipped within contained no true foam packaging or any type of cushioning except for corner cardboard in a cardboard container which is thicker than usual. Many (20+) detached holly leaves lined the bottom of the box when opened which I am unsure was due to poor manufacturing issues or fell off in transit. I am going to see if I can glue or re-connect them for next year. There is no place to connect an ornament christmas tree topper to the existing lights to have a lighted topper. The base should be wider as the tree is very tipable if you have animals. If you put this tree near an open window for viewing from outside light will be show through viewing the tree from inside killing the illusion of a solid tree. When lit at night you can see all the lights from the back through the tree from the front. The cord provided for the lights is extremely short meaning you have to have an extension cord or be connected to a wall very close to the tree making placement an issue. There is no on/off switch just a plug and no options for lighting. Unfortunately this tree uses incandecent lights and not led lights which would not add much to the cost but dramatically reduce yearly cost to operate in addition to the convenience of lights not needing replacement. Also another negative is the up-sell of a bag to put the tree within which should be included in the first place which costs 1/3 of the price of the reduced cost tree. Also shown in photos is a christmass tree skirt which also is an up-sell product that should be included in the initial purchase. Forcing patrons to hunt down these items is very inconvenient when their initial purchase is predicated upon the convenience of ready setup and easy storage. Overall a nice purchase at a decent price for China produced American engineered product in higher value than the competition. Many areas of improvement available if they surveyed their customer base more effectively. I hoped to get many years of use out of this tree but the incandecent lights will fail within a year or so it will not be as convenient as I initially thought that may limit it's future use and value. If this candid evaluation was of use, please let me know.

This product is actually really nice and gets the job done for its purpose. I think this is a good product to always have on hand. I got the taller one and this is easily the main tree or could be great as a 2nd tree for a 2nd room such as a sun room, etc. This year my man is deployed and will only be home for a few days before we head out to visit family for the rest of the holidays. It truthfully would not be good time management to get a real tree and climbing in the attic for the decorations for just a few days. and then the take down which i would be having to do myself b/c. This was a perfect solution b/c he still will come home to a beautiful tree which adds festivity to the house for the season and i can enjoy it until then for a longer period of time. I put it up now in early nov b/c i needed to see if product needed to be returned. just decided to keep it up b/c it is pretty. the nice thing is, even in years to come i will keep this b/c we can also add our own ornaments to it as well to give a bit more personal feel and it can easily be stored for years we wish to have a real tree. a great idea and GREAT for the price i saw the video and it looks easy but this is the smaller one. the taller one i needed to stand on a chair to put it up which was fine but it actually works better to do it from the ground up instead b/c its awkward for me to hold up like the video shows b/c of the height. i put it on the one stick first and then mid way up slid the other pole thru the side and pulled it up that way. there is a peg at the top that fits in the hole of the top pole. then it just slides down. there are 2 little bags of extra lights taped on the inside of the tree and the cord is sort of hidden for the outlet. I realize this is not too hard to figure out w/some common sense but not everyone may find it that obvious i could not see there was a peg to fit in the hole at the top and was looking for another open circle to clamp. a little sheet w/some directions (even 4 sentences) would be helpful. of course i figured it out but would have been more obvious to have some directions b/c i had never seen a pop up before.

Having purchased the Brylane tree that fits this, we definitely needed a way to store it. The carry handle is also handy. I will say that it's much bigger than required, but I'm not complaining. Just leaves room to add more decorations if needed. Not as thick and sturdy as I expected, but it's getting the job done.

The media could not be loaded. The tree looks nice. When the lights are on it is see through. But it doesn’t look too bad. The lights from the back side visually compensate for the empty space. Cons: • There are no lights on the top of the tree, so the tree looks weird when the lights are on. Need to add the light on the top for a better look. • The three lower levels of lights did not work. It took about 40 minutes to check each bulb and find the one not connected to restore the chain. • The red berries are cheapest cheap and look awfully. Replaced all of them with better looking berry branches. • The decorations are attached with metal wires and some of them are stuck out. Need to be fixed for safety. Pros: • Easy to assemble • Easy to store • Easy to remove/replace decorations • No skirt needed, the bottom of the tree reaches the floor • There is an additional plug-in on the top for a tree topper. • Works for small spaces • Festive
