In 1941, the Dawn Redwood was rediscovered by a Chinese researcher. As the Dawn Redwood has been introduced to the west in only the last 70 years, Brussel's Bonsai grows and cultivates a range of Dawn Redwoods in the USA. These majestic bonsai trees, thrive in the outdoors in temperatures as low as 20 degrees F, and known to be quick growers. They have sturdy upright trunks with brown and red-flecked bark, and upswept branches that charming feather-like foliage.
