It’s a healthy, beautiful tree with great potential to become a stunning bonsai as it matures. The shape allows plenty of room for you to apply your own styling and design. The pot it came in is nice, though I was a bit surprised to receive a glazed one since the listing photos suggested otherwise. Still, it’s attractive and doesn’t take away from the overall presentation. The soil is clearly high-quality bonsai mix—appears to be a well-draining combination of organic and inorganic materials. Just received this tree and it looks very healthy it was moist when I opened it and very much alive no dead limbs everything is blooming nicely and it could also use a slight trim. It's slightly bigger than I was expecting which is nice. I'll definitely be buying another few from this seller. Healthy tree. However, this is the second dawn redwood that's been delivered to me with a broken pot. Both from Brussels Bonsai, who have great trees and are a reputable company. Also, the tree was delivered sideways instead of upright. There needs to be something on the box to say "this side up."
