When I saw the shiny squares, I immediately thought 'plastic, hot, uncomfortable' ... Then I slept on them. These sheets are not at all hot or uncomfortable. They are super soft and perfect for summer. I live in the Caribbean where cotton sheets are important because you don't want to spend the night sweating. Well, these are not cotton but feel like it. They wash very well. I am very pleased with the value for the money. I do have two issues with these ... 1. The elastic on the fitted sheet is not sewn onto the fabric ... It's just free-floating in there like on some waistbands. I don't think I've ever seen that on sheets before. So far so good, but if it poses a problem I'll have to get the sewing machine out and sew the elastic down. 2. I did notice that the fabric has 'texture' or squares missing in some areas. It's as if the textile slipped on the loom during imprinting or something like that. However, it's on the bottom rim of the flat sheet, so barely noticeable. See photo ... Pattern is missing on the left side. ... show more

Gorgeous, soft sheets with that luxury feel! I love these sheets! I was in serious need for some sheets that were going to fit new double bed. They would need deep pockets, as new mattresses are so tall they require them to fit properly. I found this set and thought why not give it a whirl and see if they were as described. Sure enough they are! Seeing as I make it a practice to start out washing new sheets first, these went into the washer, on a warm water setting and dried in a warm setting. They folded beautifully so I had a feeling they were going to look amazing on my bed! I was really impressed with the feel of the sheets, soft and silky feeling. They aren't as thick as cotton sheets. I held them up to the light and you can see through them fairly easily. What I do like about them is when I'm in bed they toast me right up, without having to turn my electric mattress on. Made of 100% polyester, they retain the warmth of your body much easier than cotton sheets do. Pros: Soft and Silky Feeling 100% Polyester (Keeps your body warmth in the bed) Easy Care (Tag says machine wash cold, tumble dry, however I wash them on warm and dry on warm settings as well) Nice deep pockets to accommodate taller mattresses Generous top sheet, it actually drapes down and covers BOTH sides of the mattress Defined top of sheet, for flat sheet Cons: They are polyester and if you love thick cotton sheets, then you will want to pass on this set. Overall they are well constructed, easy to put on your bed, wash and dry like a dream, super soft and retain your body heat. I'm a big fan of Microfiber sheets! And have purchased several brands. They are not all equal! I tell people that a microfiber sheet should feel like a really soft fine plush suede. They are light weight and breath well. Very easy keep with no ironing! This is the first time I've seen them with a pattern and really liked it. I was needing a set to match the brick red color in the spare bedroom and took a chance with the Burgundy. Note that lighting will change the look of the color as seen in the pics I took below. And As we all know, colors vary so much in shades! These have more of a reddish tint than a purplish tent you see so often in Burgundy. They matched really well! I found these sheets to be well made with elastic running all the way around the bottom of the fitted sheet and the pillow cases have a hidden lip on the inside to keep your pillow from poking out. The feel of the sheets were a little different from the microfiber sheets I'm used to and almost felt like a combo of Microfiber meets cotton? I'm thinking it's because of the woven pattern? I did wash them before putting them on the bed and they washed up beautifully. Really enjoyed the feel of these sheets. I found them very comfortable and a great choice for Spring and Summer since they are light and airy. Word of warning though.....I have a white pillow toper on my mattress and when I took the sheets off to wash, I noticed where I had been laying, some red dye had rubbed off onto the pillow top? So, you might want to wash these a couple of times before using if this concerns you. I did note that after washing the second time, the sheets felt even softer, so no doubt they will get better with time. I have a regular Queen size mattress, nothing fancy, with a pillow top on it and these sheets fit perfect with a little room to spare. Very happy with these sheets, would definitely purchase again.
