I'm an iced coffee girl so I bought this to keep it from melting throughout the morning. I rinse it out and use it for ice water in the afternoon. It definitely keeps the coffee cold. It only keeps ice from melting if you have a lot of it, if you're only using 5 cubes or less it'll melt slowly over 4-5 hrs, which is still decent. With the locking mechanism it does not leak. The gasket they used to help with this actually makes it really hard to open if you closed it tightly. I'm young but have hand/wrist problems so it can hurt sometimes, and there have been a few times I've had to ask for help because I couldn't get it off at all. If you use the spout cover for leverage it snaps off, but can be replaced. After about 2 months the locking mechanism on the cover broke off because the adhesive wore off. I was able to get it back on but it's not as secure. Also not all reusable straws fit in it, but 90% of mine do so it doesn't bother me. Overall I'm somewhat happy with it as it does the job I want, but wish a couple things were changed.

This Brumate tumbler is 100% leak proof. I would buy this brand over yeti any day! It keeps my water cold as ice and my coffee hot for hours! These are also true 32 ounce where the yeti is only 30. The sliding magnetic lid is awesome and the fact it screws on instead of just push down makes it even better. No danger if dropping it and the lid popping off. I also like the fact it has a rubber protector on the bottom so I don’t have to buy extra accessories to keep it from scratching my tables. Thank you Brumate!!! I’ve already bought another 32 and will buy more.

I have 4 of these and love them totally!! For people who say the lid doesn’t go on far enough to drink out of, they just need to turn it a little farther. It will feel tight when the cups are new but it will turn just a little more so it’s comfortable to drink. The lids are hard to get on and off at first, but but they break in nicely. These are absolutely zero leaking and keep my coffee hot for several hours and ice overnight easily.

I bought one mug to replace my old aging coffee mug and was so happy with the first, I bought TWO more!! Two mugs I use for morning coffee and the third I use for my tea for my late afternoon supper!! A great product BUT you do have to get used to using the lid. For the first week or two, I used unsalted butter to "grease" the threads on the lid and it worked just fine!! DO NOT force the lid....easy does it and the "new" issue will resolve itself - in NO time! :-)

I love my brumate. It fits in my car cup holders. Keeps my drink hot or cold for a long time. The seal is great. Does not leak. The only problem I have sometimes is unscrewing the top after use.

I use the 32oz Brumate with a tea bag for a hot drink during the day. The tea remains hot well beyond 3 hours. At first, twisting the lid on and off can be a challenge but becomes much easier over time. The locking flap keeps the contents airtight. I handwash the Brumate since I have found that running through the dishwasher may possibly damage both the interior and exterior. Based on my experience, I purchased a 20oz for coffee use. Highly recommend.
