I was drawn to this phone/fax/copier machine because of the price. Very low. I had one, same brand, for a few years, but it finally quit working and I needed a replacement. I don't need to fax regularly, just sometimes. Also rarely need to make copies, as I have a scanner, so I didn't have to have this feature, but it's nice to have for something faster than scanning it, then copying it. It's also nice to have the phone for those times the electricity goes out and the cordless phones go dead. ... show more

Good price to replace the same product that I acidently dropped on the basement floor and broke beyond repair. Easy to set up and for the occasional fax use it meets our needs perfectly. Fast delivery too!

    • You get what you pay for
I got this just to have on hand for the occasional fax needs, so I didn't need anything fancy. But this fax machine is pretty weak. I was faxing refinance documents today and had to start over three times because it kept sucking in 6 pages at a time (my paper is exactly the paper they recommend to use in the feeder.) Even manually feeding isnt intuitive. It wants to grab everything in the tray, even the stuff you are holding onto. Then I got a "check document error" that alternated with "press stop," so I listened to it, and everything stopped and I have no idea if the fax went through. Also got an "add paper" error. But I was only sending. I humored it and added paper. It didn't believe me. Here's the thing, I can read the manual and figure out what all the errors mean. But a.) it can't handle multiple page docs unless you manually feed one at a time and b.) I needed it today for two things, yet got probably 5 error flashes, and I still have no idea if my docs went. It's a fax machine for god's sake. Shouldn't it be able to handle faxing two documents out? Weak, I tell you. Weak. So weak, that it inspired my first Amazon review. I've used Amazon since day one. So yeah, I'm thinking you should skip this one and spring for a little better quality. It will be worth it even if you only use it once in a while. Trust me. ... show more

This is a simple to use, dependable fax. I had several other just like it at different locations and then a different brand which was always using up ink. Went online and bought this one to replace it.

    • Excellent value for the price
I have been pleased with how well this works, considering how little we paid for it. The last fax machine we bought lasted less than two years and we paid almost $200 for it. We'll see how long this one lasts. So far, it is working well. We had to figure out the setting on it to get it to print good, but once we got that figured out it works like a charm. UPDATE 8/20/13 - A year later and it is still working very well, even with a re-location. We purchase replacement cartridges through Amazon for this and have had no problems.     • Handy to Have !
Handy to have if you don't have access to an office. I worked for a small office and they had one . I got spoiled and so easy to use. Have to admit I struggle with changing the print roll, but I am not real mechanical. I would recommend. Didn't use technical support , so I don't know
