Pros: The print quality is surprisingly good. When I saw that it was only 300 dpi, I thought that my photos might have a grainy appearance. But they look great! The printer’s colors match those of the original photos extremely well. I am thrilled with the color fidelity. The sticker paper is thin enough to work well in my planner. Because the printer uses sublimation technology, the stickers and photos are extremely durable. They are built to withstand both moisture and reasonable abrasion. These are great bonuses since I like to put stickers on my water bottles. I have a Cricut Access subscription, so I was able to remove the background from subjects. I did this on several of my stickers. It worked very well. However, none of the photos that I tried this on had complex backgrounds. Neutral: *The printer only trims through the top layer of the sticker paper. So, it won’t cut out individual stickers or cut through photo paper. *At under three hundred dollars, given how many stickers I can fit on one sheet, the durability of the stickers, and the simplicity of operation, this is a fair value for the money. Cons: *It often takes me multiple tries to connect Bluetooth, and I sometimes have to connect it again within a work session. It hasn’t failed during printing, though. This isn’t a problem that I have with other devices, so I have to assume that the machine or the app is the problem. *One of the doors to the machine is held on only with magnets. So, when I’m working, it’s just a loose piece on my table that I need to remember to reattach. Notes: *This is a surprisingly large machine. When not in use, the footprint is about that of a letter-sized sheet of paper. *The sticker paper’s printed area is 4”x7”; the photo paper’s printed area is 4”x6”. *Under .08” for the sticker border setting, the app warns that some of the picture might be cut into when trimming a sticker. At .05”, I did not have this problem at all. With no border at all, tiny slivers at the top and left edges were trimmed off. I ordered this machine because I have a sublimation-style label maker, but it only makes small, square stickers. I was excited to be able to make stickers in the shapes of my subjects. Although I’ve had the print and cut ability with my other Cricut machines, it has always seemed like a fiddly process, and I’ve never done that. This machine makes it quick and easy, and I now have a new sticker making hobby! Despite the Bluetooth and magnetic door irritations, this is an excellent, fun to use tool. It is a gift-worthy, five-star product, and I would recommend it to a friend. ... show more

The Cricut StickerPix Print + Cut Essential Bundle in Sea Green is such a fun addition to my Cricut collection and makes creating custom stickers, labels and photos much easier than piecing the process together with separate machines. I do a lot of crafts and preschool projects, so being able to print and cut everything in one system gives me endless ideas for classroom labels, reward stickers, personalized projects and little gifts. The 300 DPI printing produces nice, crisp details and I love being able to turn my own designs and photos into something I can actually use. The bundle includes sticker and photo paper, which means I can start experimenting right away instead of opening the box and realizing I need to order supplies first. It’s also nice having something specifically designed for these smaller print-and-cut projects rather than pulling out more equipment than I need. The Sea Green color is adorable and looks great with my other crafting supplies. The Cricut StickerPix Print + Cut™ Essential Bundle is such a fun machine! I have one daughter that is obsessed with her Cricut, and a younger one who wants to have her own but really isn’t ready for the complexity of a Cricut. The StickerPix Print is a great middle ground - something that allows my younger daughter to create with support from her sister and accomplish the one thing she really wants to make; stickers. This is a standalone machine that works with Design Space and this bundle includes the ink cartridge, one package of sticker paper, and one package of photo paper. The images print with crisp, accurate colors and look fantastic. The fact that these can custom cut various shapes of stickers along with printing them is so cool! The cuts are precise. It is perfect for making gift tags, stickers for scrapbooking, stickers for friends, and photos for every occasion. This is such a cool machine, and great quality, just as I would expect from Cricut. This is Cricut’s newer StickerPix Print + Cut machine, and after using it, I think the biggest thing potential buyers need to understand is exactly what it does—and what it doesn’t do. It makes stickers and prints photos on 4 x 7-inch sheets. That’s essentially its entire purpose. It does those things extremely well, but it is a fairly substantial investment for such a specialized machine. Setup and use are incredibly easy. It connects to your phone through Bluetooth and the app walks you through everything. Installing the cartridge and loading either the sticker or photo sheets is simple, and I was up and printing very quickly. You can create stickers using AI within Cricut’s app, or you can create your own designs elsewhere and upload PNG or JPEG images. There are also plenty of options for adjusting borders, backgrounds, and other details. Those settings take a little experimentation if you want everything exactly right, but the basic process is very beginner-friendly. The print quality is excellent. Colors come out bright, vibrant, and true to the original images. The sticker material itself is also impressive—it is laminated, feels substantial, and is very sticky. One of the biggest improvements over the previous version is that this machine also cuts the stickers after printing. That means you can make stickers in essentially any shape rather than being limited to squares or circles or having to cut them out yourself or transfer them to a separate Cricut cutting machine. The consumable system is something I would definitely research before buying. The cartridge has a predetermined number of sheets it can print. Mine came with a cartridge for 36 prints along with 18 sticker sheets and 18 photo sheets. Each 4 x 7 sheet counts as one complete print, regardless of how much of the sheet you actually use. So if you print only one tiny sticker in the middle of a sheet, you have still used one of your allotted prints. You can’t simply put that partially used sheet back through later. Because of that, it makes sense to fill the sheet with as many stickers as possible whenever you print. You’re also buying into a fairly specific system of cartridges and compatible 4 x 7 media, so I would look carefully at the ongoing refill cost and available paper options before deciding whether this makes financial sense for you. Overall, it does what it is designed to do extremely well. It is exceptionally easy to use, the print quality is great, the stickers feel high quality, and having the machine automatically cut around complicated shapes is fantastic. My hesitation is simply how limited it is for the price. It isn’t a general-purpose Cricut cutting machine, so you’re not going to use it to make things like iron-on designs or the many other projects you can make with a traditional Cricut. You’re also limited to its 4 x 7 format, so you can’t suddenly decide you want a 5 x 7 photo or a large bumper sticker. For someone who makes a lot of stickers—especially someone selling them—the convenience and quality could make this a very useful machine. For casual household or craft use, though, I would think carefully about how many stickers and 4 x 7 photos you realistically plan to make. I really like the results, but for my own everyday use, the combination of the initial investment, ongoing consumable costs, and limited range of projects makes it harder to justify. ... show more

    • My candle-making hobby just got a serious upgrade!
I am SO excited about this! I recently started making candles, and one of the things I've been looking forward to most is creating my own custom labels. When I saw this Cricut StickerPix, I immediately knew it would be perfect for my new hobby. I love the idea of being able to design, print, and cut my own stickers and labels without needing multiple machines. The fact that it comes with sticker and photo paper is an added bonus because I can start experimenting with different designs right away. I'm already dreaming up all kinds of candle labels, from simple, elegant designs to fun seasonal collections. And knowing myself, I'm sure I'll find about a million other projects to use this for! I haven't had a chance to put it through all its paces yet, but I'm genuinely excited about the creative possibilities. I would give this ten stars if the scale went that high. I have a Cricut Joy Xtra and I love it, but it is annoying to fill out one big page every time I only want a couple of stickers. Even more annoying and time consuming is lining everything up on the cut mat for a tiny batch. All of that is avoided with this little machine. You print and cut the small run without building a whole sheet and babysitting registration marks. That is the whole reason it earned a spot next to the bigger cutter. Printing quality and cutting are top of the line for what it is. Edges come out clean and the colors look finished, not faded home printer stickers. For quick labels, school stuff, and small gifts it saves a lot of wasted vinyl and setup time. The Joy Xtra still handles the bigger projects. This one handles the “I just need four stickers right now” jobs without turning it into a twenty minute alignment project. ... show more

We picked up the Cricut StickerPix Print and Cut Essential Bundle in sea green, and it has completely transformed how we make custom stickers and photo prints at home. Having the machine handle the dye-sublimation printing, laminating, and precision kiss-cutting all in a single pass saves so much time compared to running between separate inkjet printers and cutting mats.
