Ok - for those of you looking for "compatible" toner or re-use toner cartridges that have been remanufactured that don't streak or leak toner into your printer......I have not found one. Stop looking and don't waste your time and money thinking there is a consistent vendor out there that can provide one with the quality and page yield then what you get from the original manufacturer and a new cartridge. I have tried and been disappointed too many times and always end up buying another Brother. The opinions found here are totally mine and were not influenced in any manner resulting from the discounted or free product. The assertions in this review are based on the product, it quality and suitability to the task at hand, and the potential of the product to perform over its lifetime. Why then did I provide this review? Well, I am an avid Amazon buyer and depend greatly on the Amazon reviews provided on products that I am considering for purchase and I feel that I can provide a service back to the Amazon community by provide and unbiased review of products I purchase so as to assist others in their decision making process. I've owned a Brother multi-function unit for nine years. Over those years, I've ordered replacement Brother toner and drums and occasional aftermarket brand drums and toner. Like others, I believed that Brother toner and drums were superior to their cheaper, generic counterparts, and they were -- for a while. Sadly, as a few recent purchases have shown, that's no longer the case. Though the toner cartridge I bought was new in the package, it looked empty, and test prints confirmed this. I returned the cartridge to Amazon and they promptly sent another one. Again, as pictured, though the replacement was also new, it appeared to be a used, empty cartridge. No shaking would have fixed that (as advised in the instructions). This time, Amazon promptly gave me a cash refund. On top of that, around the same time, I bought four new Brother replacement drums from another seller and found that one of them wouldn't fit the new V4Ink brand cartridge I installed or lock into the printer properly. I had no problems with the new drum in that same package. The V4Ink, which I've had luck with in the past, hasn't leaked and works fine. I've been happy with Brother products before, but as a result of these experiences, now feel that the company should improve its quality control standards.

I bought this product in November. It is now January and I am replacing it. It looks like the ink did not attach. The ink of the old one was powdery and flaked off. The new one seems pale, but I had to use it. I usually a lot get much more out of of these. They are expensive.. Maybe, since it is an older printer, they have stopped making toner for them, and these are an old product.

I've always used these toner cartridges in the past and as far as OEM goes, you typically cannot go wrong, these are no exception. They are an excellent option for replacing an empty cartridge. Parts fit, corona wire cleaning system, packaged well and non-problematic. Though I am never disappointed with these, I am considering filling my own in the future as the price to replace one toner cartridge in this simplistic way is three to four times more expensive than doing all four colors from a refill kit. When I once again run out of toner I will be attempting to refill and will post follow up comments as to its value vs. just sliding a cartridge in. It is also why I rate 4-stars, as there are no other substitutions, less expensive options or otherwise.

I can't recommend purchasing this Toner enough. First of all, the price is lower than you can find anywhere retail, and then, it keeps the printer working well. I've had my MFC-9325CW HR printer for 4 years now, and it has not stopped working well by using this original Brother toner. In contrast, I had the same printer, purchased at the same time, and as soon as I started using no-brand toner, the fuser developed streaks on the paper, and finally the colors where all off. There was not way of getting the printer back to shape, and I had to throw it away. So by spending a few extra dollars per cartridge, I have kept my printer working in top condition.

Reading so many of these reviewers comments about these not being the OEM product from Brother. I think you need to pay attention from whom you are buying these toners from. READ what the seller is saying about them as they should be saying they are "remanufactured or compatible" with -- those words should be an indication to you that these are not OEM products from Brother. I bought these toners FROM Amazon and they are indeed OEM products that come in the Brother box. I will not use any ink or toners unless they are from the manufacturer of the machine, like Brother or HP. Remember to take the time to READ before placing your order, it could save you money in the long run.

Experienced toner leaking with a Brother TN-210C all over the drum unit at installation. Matching the review with a posted image of blue toner on print outs. I took the cartridge out, cleaned the drum unit and tray, reinstalled, and the exact same thing occurred. The Brother TN-210C cartridge may have been damaged during shipping, as it was only encased in a very thin plastic overpack bag. Of course, I’m outside the 30 day return window. I paid for another one which worked perfectly; making for a very expensive toner cartridge purchase. In all fairness, this was my first negative experience with a Brother TN-210 cartridge in over 7 years - hopefully the last.
