This sewing machine case is definitely a universal case. It accommodates regular sewing machines and serger sewing machines. However, I gave it 4 stars only because it doesn't feel sturdy enough to handle heavy weight machines, ie... older machines. It is truly designed for the lighter weight machines of today. But, it is big enough to hold my Singer 5 thread serger. Unfortunately, that machine is heavy and the hard case adds weight to it and my health will not permit me to lift the machine and the case. So, my 5 thread serger is in a case with wheels. Fortunately, I bought this case for my Brother seger which is much lighter... and a better fit. I really like the case. ... show more

The product hard case was very good however, the machine I purchased was very compact and is packaged in a storage and carrying box for easy handling hence I did not need it.

I love this case because it fits my sergers well and has plenty of space left for accessories. It is light weight and easy to carry. This is my third case of this type.

The case is definitely sturdy probably more sturdy than my sewing machine. I returned it cause it was too bulky and I did not have enough room on the table for the Maxine and a case. I am not sure if this is from Beother company or a third party. I returned it.
