I’ve bought somewhere between 15-20 pairs of these in the last 8 or 9 years. While there are variations based on the model, I like the 13 more than some of the preceding versions and have bought about 7-10 of the cascadia 13. I always find these to be the go to long distance trail running shoe. Obviously not for everyone but for a 6’7”, 200+ lbs ultra distance runner living in the rocky, rooty Shenandoah, these are perfect. Sturdy, comfortable, durable, good grip, some support but not too much. And the gator trap on the back is much appreciated.

I bought the GTX version earlier in the year and loved them. So I thought I’d try the non-GTX. They fit true to size. Most comfortable trail shoe I’ve ever had. I always put Superfeet in my shoes so I can’t really comment on the arch support. Great tread on these shoes. I run on a lot of rooted and rocky trails. I’d say the stability is okay, not great. I give them a five because they’re so comfortable but for stability I’d give it a 4 star. Still worth picking up especially at $74.

Amazingly comfortable. I'm rarely disappointed by Brooks, and that trend continues. They seem well designed, and are very cushioning. A GoreTex or waterproof upgrade would be about the only suggestion I have. The half velcro tab on the backs of the shoe is a bit odd. The bottom of the tongue could use a bit more padding, and some additional color options would be phenomenal, as I'd love another pair! Some reflective accents would also be an improvement. The soles, including outer and inners, are very flexible. If you require a rigid or a more stable sole, these aren't for you.

Ran a 5k in these,1/2 on road and 1/2 on dirt trails. This shoe is very comfortable right out of the box. We will see how it holds up over time. fits as expected. I went with a wide and glad I did. Very comfortable in the toe box.

I've been running/walking in Brooks shoes for years and the Cascadia 13 did not disappoint me. I live in the country so trail running/walking is what I do most. I find the tread to be very good. It provides grip but does not seem to "gum" up. I wear a size 14 EE, so finding running shoes that fit is often a chore but not with Brooks. They offer larger sizes and many of the Cascadia 13 came in a wider width too. I like how they fit. The shoes have been durable so far.

I have great admiration for Brooks sneakers; for the last 8 years, it has been my favorite brand, but this order was a complete failure. In less than a month of use, the two pairs of sneakers fell apart terribly.

I ordered the 13 as a replacement to my 12. Not much difference that I can tell except for more plastic covering the toe area and the lower part of the shoe (for moisture protection). I love my 12s, but have not yet had the 13s long enough to form my opinion. Based on my 12s, I'd highly recommend these as trail shoes. The rock protection comes in very handy for running and or hiking.

I have enjoyed these trail shoes and they have proven themselves. I not only use them on the dirt trail and gravel road when walking our yellow lab but in my shop. The toe guards work great as the other Brooks I had where not trail shoes and developed holes quickly at the toes. They are comfortable to wear 10 + hours and are a quality made shoe from what I have experienced.
