I recently purchased the Brooklyn Botany Peppermint Essential Oil, and I am beyond impressed with the quality! First off, the value is incredible—getting a huge 4 fl oz bottle at this price point is a steal, especially considering a little goes such a long way. The scent is exactly what you want in a high-quality peppermint oil: crisp, incredibly refreshing, and potent without being overwhelming. It smells 100% pure and natural, with none of that synthetic or "chemical" undertone you sometimes find with cheaper brands. I’ve used it in my diffuser to help focus during work, and it fills the entire room with a clean, invigorating aroma almost instantly. I also mixed a few drops with a carrier oil for a cooling muscle rub after the gym, and it worked wonders. My determination for Brooklyn botany essential oils are they are very high-quality and have beautiful scents. They are perfect for lotions, sugar, scrubs, diffusers, and other type of skin care applications I would not pause their essential oil to make cold process soap. Essential oils battle with the lye in cold process soap and I’m not sure if these are strong enough to hold up in cold process soap. The basil essential oil is beautiful and nice and strong for cold process soap The spearmint is made for cold process soap. I think I’m gonna go ahead and keep it. I don’t want a strong spearmint scent in the blend. I’m going to make anyways. The peppermint oil is absolutely beautiful for my diffuser, but I already know much to weak for my cold process. I think they would be perfect for lotions, sugar, scrubs, or diffusers because you don’t want anyone’s eyes burning and tearing up! The lavender is stunning. Natural, sweet and fragrant. It smells like lavender flowers. But I concerned that it is too weak for my cold process soap. But perfect for a diffuser or lotion.

This essential oil has multiple uses. I bought this for my daughter after she moved into her own place initially a few years back... Spiders were an issue and my spidey senses kicked into play. I took to the internet to find out what natural remedies to use to get rid of spiders. There were several essential oils to use (outside of other remedies). However, I chose the essential oil route. It really works...It keeps the spiders away so she doesn't have to worry about that as long as she keeps using it... Also, the other uses are:aromatherapy or candle warmer, laundry, mopping floors, countertops, ect... It will have your place smelling good...It's a fresh clean smell...It's powerful so you don't have to use that many drops...Do what's to your liking...A must buy...

I love this essential oil. I add it to my son's air purifier when he has a stuffy nose and it has him feeling better in no time. The scent is not too strong and does not irritate our eyes when in the air. I have had bad experiances with past peppermint oils thats burned our eyes when used becasue they were too strong. This is also a fairly large bottle (4oz) and the only ingredient is 100% Pure Peppermint Oil. I also have this in the Eucalyptus scent which I also love and sometimes add to bath water.
