I've always loved the smell of frankincense and I was looking for an essential oil to pair with a bottle of Neem oil I bought (because I don't wanna smell like an Italian restaurant if I haven't been eating Italian food lately) and this was just perfect. It has a heady, spicy aroma and it's very strong so a little bit goes a long way. But it becomes an amazing-scented moisturizer and hair/scalp oil when mixed with a carrier like fractionated coconut oil. Definitely will buy again. Edit: I was going to leave a separate review for the cedar oil, totally forgetting that it's treated as the same product by Amazon! ๐Ÿ˜ Either way, the same stands for that, it smells just like a cedar chest my mother owns ๐Ÿ˜. ... show more

I mix two or three droppers (halfway full) into about 4 ounces of a carrier oil and apply to painful joints and muscles. In most cases, I have a noticeable relief of pain very quickly. (May not work on nerve pain such as sciatica or some neuropathy, but does great on sore muscles or inflamed joints.) Some folks complain of a strong odor, but I've found that only with the Premium grade oil and not the therapeutic grade. ... show more
