I dont get the reviews saying it doesn't work. If you want to not risk any issues you need to update the firmware on the Brook website or app on PC: yours, someome else's or the local library's, maybe even display computers at tech retailers. Takes 5 mins, Brook even suggested you do this before use. After pairing my 8bitdo Switch controller worked flawlessly on PS5. No issues playing online or single player with wireless. Then I used those Amazon PS5 controllers for the Switch 2 and besides the Confirm and Cancel buttons (X/O A/B) being switched it worked just as fine, even kept the motion controls (i dont own an actual dualsense because theyre terrible, amazon PS5 controllers have mixed quality and Sony has 0 afforadable third party controller support compared to their competition). If it doesn't work wirelessly then your only option would be an extended wired cable. It doesn't come with a physical manual just a barcode for the digital manual. If you're unsure I took pics to share how it works. The p5s is expensive BUT get a third party 8bitdo or Gamesir controller with hall effect/tmr thumbsticks (extra back buttons too are a game changer), this and you'll NEVER have to deal with 1st party controllers that drift every few months ever again. Dualsense Edge is $200 dollars, official Switch 2 Pro ($90) plus regular Dualsense ($75-85) is $160-175. Wingman P5S ($80) plus one 3rd party brand Switch/Xbox controller ($30-70) is up to $110-150 dollars. Note: you can't turn on your console with the adapted controller in my testing so either turn it on manually or check if your TV has the option to turn on HDMI connected devices with the remote. If the controllers already adapted it'll connect when you turn on the console THEN the controller after. Get closer to the adapter or re pair if they aren't connecting ... show more

I don't know why I waited this long to get the P5S/P5. I have the previous Brook Wingmans FGC versions. I have been wanting to use my Xbox controller on PS5 as I prefer the lay out better. Now I took it up a notch. I got a FlyDigi Vader 5 pro and paired it with the P5S. Wow! Game changer for me! Easy to use, just plug it in! Wireless?! Easy peasy. Using a PC/Xbox controller on PS5 is awesome. My biggest concerns were adressed. Wireless capabilities and low latency for competitive online gaming. So far so good. The compatibility is flawless. 3 to 4ms on PS5. Virtually no lag and functioning exactly like a PS5 Controller. PC is 3MS. No data on the switch 2 yet. Make sure you update it. Patches fixes a few issues that others have complained about. You will need a PC to update it. If you want to use a wide variety of controllers on your PS5. Get the P5S or the P5. Get yourself an affordable pro controller and pair it up with the wingman. Its worth the price! Bravo Brook! My 4th wingman is another 10/10. ... show more

Doesn't Work
Doesn't work on Nintendo Switch 2. Light comes up and unit connects to my xbox controller but no actual input gets through to the console. Tried it on my switch 1 and it's the same. Seems to work on PC but i noticed the web UI updater sees it as a P5 unit instead of a P5s. I'll change my review if Brooks support can help me sort this out, I'll have to return the unit otherwisse. Works Flawless for Ps5 Pro!
I haven’t had an issue with it yet & very excited to use my Xbox controller on my ps5 pro flawlessly not to mention. No drop offs for me lost connection & my ps5 pro is right next to my router. I will say make sure you update it on a pc first.. it will make you use chrome to update.

Unstable connection
I got one just to be able to use third party controller, because the battery in those dualsense controllers sucks. But they sucks as well (wingman P5's), my connection keeps dropping even with the cable connected to my scuff ps4 controller. Thumbs down👎👎
