  • Grandson Approved!
Color: Cool Flow Carbon
Great Childs Car Seat...easy installation compared to other brands. My Grandson is very secure and comfortable. So, comfortable at times he doesn't want to get out. I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for safety, quality, easy to clean and most of all being comfortable for your little ones on long trips. But, with all the wonderful qualities, you will pay a little more. My Grand Babies safety means more then what the cost. You know the old saying, "you get what you pay for". Thank you for an awesome Child Seat! ... show more

  • SOOOOO Easy to Install!!!!
Color: Eclipse Black
I struggled endlessly with a Grayco and Uppa Baby (Knox is a nightmare to install - the Uppa Baby Mesa is the best infant car seat and is very easy to install - both those seats were returned. Not the Britax... Lots of features on the Britax are common with other higher end car seats such as level indicator and no rethread harness adjustment BUT the installation is absolutely simple and the seat is locked down tight. There is no messing around with making sure you've put your vehicle's lap belt into locking mode - you simply feed the belt through the path and lock the seat bottom into place and that is it. The only cons are 1) weight - this is twice the weight of the Grayco I returned but probably the same weight as the Uppa Baby, and 2) price - this thing is very expensive (currently $399!) but I paid $277 on Prime Day(s) which is less than either the Grayco or Uppa Baby. I'm sure this goes on sale at other times of the year as well. ... show more

  • Really gives that safe feeling.
Color: Eclipse Black
I love the padding on this seat. It took me a min to figure a few things out but I’ll take it over the idea that this car seat is the only one I will have to buy. I will tell you that it is on the heftier side then I’m used to but again my babies will be safe and I don’t transfer seats regularly so that doesn’t bother me. ... show more

  • Great Car Seat
Color: Eclipse Black
The Britax One4Life ClickTight All-in-One Car Seat in is versatile and durable car seat for various stages of your child's growth. This is the second one that we bought for the second car. The installation is very convenient We are using it rear-facing for our 30 Lbs, 33 in tall. Tall toddler. Hopefully, it would be as efficient when she transitions to face forward. The only draw back, is that is heavy, but I’m not sure if safety would be compromised if they were to make it lighter. ... show more

  • Overall great car seat
I like the materials very well made. The harness make it easy in and out. Installing is a breeze definitely easier than any other car seat I’ve owned. My daughter looks and seems to be very comfy. I’m actually kinda jealous how comfy she looks in it. Washing and cleaning is pretty easy as well. The only complaints i would say I have is it’s huge and incredibly heavy but still a 5 star for me! Love the purple color definitely way better than boring black or grey for my girl. ... show more

  • Good, but not fantastic. And NO anti-rebound bar! :(
Update: I’d say 4.75 stars. This is an excellent seat that could use just a couple tweaks to make it perfect. It could use more cushioning for longer rides, an easier to remove cover for washing (though it’s certainly not the worst by far!), and since the back does not adjust outward as the head rest goes up or independently, I’d say 10 years is unrealistic for many kids in this seat, but it’s still well worth the money for 8 years, or even 6. My son is 8 years and 3 months old, he’s in about the 90th percentile for height, and about the 45th percentile for weight. He’s tall and thin. We’ve had this seat since 2019 when it was released, and had it rear facing for a year, then had to go forward facing shortly after my son turned 6 because he outgrew the RF height limits of this seat. Then about 6 months later, my son outgrew the harness on this seat, but he was not ready for a seatbelt booster at that point, so we had to get the Chicco MyFit to keep him in a harness. About a year later, we got a second SUV (we had a small Volvo s40 as our second car before that, and our son could not ride in that car as his head was less than half an inch from the ceiling when he was in a booster seat!), so we put this Britax in the new SUV in seatbelt mode to “train” our son for a seatbelt booster. He is still within the height and weight for this seat and we just moved the headrest up to the last height today, BUT his shoulders don’t quite fit in this seat anymore. Very disappointing to have to move out of this seat early (according to the advertisements, almost 2 years early) because there are no shoulder adjustments. But all that said, I would still recommend this seat as my #1 choice, especially if you’re just moving out of an infant carrier seat or even as your first seat for baby coming home from the hospital, as long as you get the anti-rebound bar for it or with it and your baby meets the minimums for this seat. Especially if you have an average height and weight child, or a child on the lower end of the ranges, this is a great seat! ——— This is quite a wide seat. I measured 20.5" at the cupholders. But it does fit in my small car pretty well, since we don't usually have any other passengers in the back seat. Also, the cupholders are too easily removed. I can see them being pulled out and thrown around by a 2-3 year old, which would be dangerous for the driver, having cupholders launched around the vehicle. This seat requires the child's head to be 1" below the top of the shell, and that is confusing. I really hate ambiguous rules like that for car seats, though I know a lot of them have this rule (our old Nextfit did not though). I'm going to speak to a tech about how to measure that. My 4-year-and-3-months old, 38.5-lb, 42" son seems to fit well in it, with room to grow. There are four height adjustments left for him, so it looks like we have *finally* found a seat he can max out rear-facing in height or weight rather than have to forward face early because he has such a long torso. Hopefully the 1" rule won't hinder that, or the seat will have been a waste of money, since we already had a seat he could forward face in. My son says the seat is comfortable, though I've only allowed him in the seat with a pull-up on so far, and I'm concerned the crotch buckle is too short and might smash him in the crotch once he's not in pull-ups. Britax said their Britax Seat Saver can be used with this seat, so I will soon find out if it will be comfortable for him without a pull-up. The seat was SUPER easy to install. This is actually the only seat I've tried (and I've tried several) that I would actually say is legitimately easy to install. It also installed more evenly than any of the others I've tried. I haven't yet tried removing the seat cover for washing (we've been spoiled by the Nextfit Zip), but I definitely like that it is machine washable. Apparently, it's machine dryable too, which is great just in case, but I will probably try not to dry it to help with longevity. This seat sits up quite tall. I have to have it on the second-to-last recline, almost all the way down, in order to be able to see enough out my rear window. Overall, the height of the shell, the ease of installation, and the comfort of the seat are the big winners here. I also like the straps and found it pretty easy to tighten. Of course, once it is set to my son, I leave the straps and just unbuckle to get him in and out so I'm not retightening all the time. I definitely wish the anti-rebound was available as originally promised. Particularly with bigger kids, the ARB seems even more important, since more weight means more force. There are definitely some things that need improvement on this seat, but there are also some great things about this seat, too. I'm not positive we will keep this seat. We might end up with the Nuna Exec instead, since it comes with an anti-rebound bar and is also super easy to install and super comfortable. ... show more

  • It's expensive - but when it comes to my child it's worth it
A solid carseat that grows with your child. I preferred a dedicated infant seat when my child was younger but starting between 1-2 years this seat works great. You can't ignore the price - it's expensive, and it really should be cheaper--and for that I can't give it 5 stars. The chair is solid and quite large so make sure you have enough room like in an SUV... a smaller car, I don't know. It was very easy to install and once everything is sinched down it doesn't go anywhere. I sprung for the anti-roll bar for extra protection but again that was pricey, especially when I believe there is a competitor that includes it (though theirs is plastic while this one is steel which is another reason I went this route). The cool n dry fabric seems to do what it's designed for... it's a little hard to tell since my child is not old enough to know or express the difference - but again, an added cost to an already expensive chair. I'd like to believe my child is safer in this chair but there is no real independent testing to tell you for sure and I sure hope I never have to find out for myself. Less important than all of that it really is a good looking chair. ... show more
