Got tired of finding crumbling light covers in the motor home and thought - LED's! Reviewed a bunch of sets and found these to have the least amount of complaints (LED's do get hot). They are a cool light (higher K-rating) and provide white light but not the "warm" white light people are used to. Still, they won't be burning any holes in my light covers (standard 1073's get incredibly hot in as little as ten seconds!). I was so happy that I took a sample to the local RV place, where I was shown their own sampler of incandescent, warm LED, and cool LED offerings. Gave it a few seconds and purchased two of their warm LED's for the motor home's bathroom light (makes it cozy). I will say the warm LED's were over three dollars each (expensive!) so I'm definitely sticking with these. ... show more

  • First impressions
Color: Bright White
I have an older large RV with 20 ceiling light fixtures that take #1141 bulbs. The original bulbs drew 1.44 amps each. These bulbs measure just under 100 milli-amps. That's less than 1/14 the current of the original bulbs or 14 of these on at the same time equals one of my old lamps turned on. That's an amazing reduction in power use to light up my RV's interior. Light color is a little harsher white but about equal in brightness. When dry camping without plug in power your RV's batteries will last much longer and you won't need to be conservative when it comes to lighting up the inside at night. Durability is yet to be verified and 19 of the 20 bulbs worked. I'll take that without complaint just for the extended battery time dry camping. ... show more

  • Can you guess which one is incandescent?
Color: Warm White
I bought the warm white because I like the cozy feel of incandescent bulbs and I was hoping this would approximate it. Well my phone camera made it look a little less warm than it appears in person but the functional point here is that you can't tell which of these 2 is the LED vs the Incandescent! (LED is on the right)... I just got them so can't rate for longevity but I can say they are just as bright, use a fraction of the power, and run cooler than the old incandescents. Very glad I made this purchase! ... show more

  • Do Not Buy If You Want A Real 700 Lumen Bright Bulb
Color: Bright White
There is absolutely no way these produce 700 lumens. Maybe half that, but not close to their claim. The lights do work, but are far less than “super bright”.

  • Most cost-effective upgrade for old RV cabin lights
Color: Bright White
These were plug and play replacements for my old tungsten bulbs, at a much more cost-effective price point than replacing whole fixtures. The hardest thing is removing old plastic covers without cracking them, due to the deterioration from the heat of the incandescent fixtures. I also like the increased brightness, which is greatest with clear or no plastic covers on the fixtures, and the change to daylight-balanced color, which I am convinced will eventually take over the world once people forget about tungsten lights, just as tungsten took over the world from candles, which illuminated/burned at an even more constricted light spectrum. As you can see from the above, I used these in an RV. The bulb socket is also common among running lights and ceiling lights in cars and trucks. It's a great replacement either way, unless you don't want your other lights to look dim and faded. When I first tried them, I inserted an led on one side of a two light fixture to compare the two. As I say, for me there is no going back, especially at an attractive cost point. Surely by now we all know that LEDs used about 1/10th the electricity and therefore generate about 1/10th the heat for the same light output. In this case that means about 1/5th the electricity and 1/5th the heat for double the light output, or something like that. To remove the plastic covers on RV light fixtures: Gently insert a wide flat blade, like a putty knife or table knife in between the center bar and the light cover. While pushing gently in, release first one side of the cover (90 degrees from where you are prying), then the other. Last bring the middle (where you are prying) outward until the end releases. This method is least likely to crack an old cover. Also note that it's easier at higher ambient temperatures--wait until the fixture is warm, either from a heater or warm weather. ... show more

  • Money well spent
Color: Natural White
This is the best $20.00 I have spent in a long time. I decided on the natural white after trying a few shades. I just replaced all of the bulbs in my 2009 trailer because I am tired of all of the heat my lights put out. I couldn’t even touch the plastic light cover within minutes with my old bulbs. I’ve had these bulbs on for hours, and the cover is barely even warm. I’m sure it will save me when I need to keep the trailer cool, and I’m hoping it won’t run my battery down as fast. Love love love these lights! Best TT purchase ever! ... show more

  • Camper lightning
Color: Bright White
We just got an older 5th wheel that had all incandescent lightning and we wanted to switch it all to LED to save battery life. This package deal offered the best value and did the entire trailer with 2 for spares. The bright lighting now lets you see perfectly and no more dim lightning. The draw on the batteries has been greatly reduced. The installation was straight forward and clipped in just like the old ones did. I so recommend changing over to LED you can choose bright, cool light, warm, daylight and more so save energy and customize your look Most of all save your battery for longer times between charges ... show more

  • Not super bright
Color: Bright White
I had some motor home lights burning out, and it was pretty dingy lighting. These came in, and I replaced every bulb in the main area. I wouldn't call these super bright; however, they are slightly brighter than the dying bulbs. One bulb in the pack, so far, doesn't work. Yes, I tried a different bulb, and it worked just fine. They aren't bad for the price, but I am also a little disappointed. ... show more
