  • Works great in camper
Color: Bright White
I thought my inverter was going bad. It would shut off then come back on in a few minutes. I got to noticing it only happened when the light were on (halogen). It has not happened since I changed the bulbs out with these. I'm guessing the halogens were pulling power and making inverter run hot???? Anyway, these work great and don't get hot like the halogen ... show more

  • Love the bright light without the fixture heating up!
Color: Natural White
I purchased two different types one bright and one more mellow. They both were easy to change and work very well.

  • Super Bright but don't last long
Color: Cool White
Update Jan. 21st 2023... The seller contacted me after posting this review and offered to give me a full refund. So I'm bumping up to 4 stars and awaiting their improved version of these 1156 interior LED bulbs which they will be sending me at no charge, for testing. At that time I will test them thoroughly for the same 2+ month period & give a "Full Review" of the improved version. Also, it bears repeating that these ARE the clearest and brightest LED bulbs I've ever purchased. And eagerly await the new & improved version. ............ Yes these are the brightest LEDs I've found so far. But the longevity sucks. The one light I use the most is on the 5th bulb in 2½ months. This last one only lasted a week. And there's nothing worse than a flickering bulb when you're trying to read. But, like I said, they are the brightest yet. And if it's in a closet, used only once in a while, I can deal with that. ... show more

  • Most cost-effective upgrade for old RV cabin lights
Color: Bright White
These were plug and play replacements for my old tungsten bulbs, at a much more cost-effective price point than replacing whole fixtures. The hardest thing is removing old plastic covers without cracking them, due to the deterioration from the heat of the incandescent fixtures. I also like the increased brightness, which is greatest with clear or no plastic covers on the fixtures, and the change to daylight-balanced color, which I am convinced will eventually take over the world once people forget about tungsten lights, just as tungsten took over the world from candles, which illuminated/burned at an even more constricted light spectrum. As you can see from the above, I used these in an RV. The bulb socket is also common among running lights and ceiling lights in cars and trucks. It's a great replacement either way, unless you don't want your other lights to look dim and faded. When I first tried them, I inserted an led on one side of a two light fixture to compare the two. As I say, for me there is no going back, especially at an attractive cost point. Surely by now we all know that LEDs used about 1/10th the electricity and therefore generate about 1/10th the heat for the same light output. In this case that means about 1/5th the electricity and 1/5th the heat for double the light output, or something like that. To remove the plastic covers on RV light fixtures: Gently insert a wide flat blade, like a putty knife or table knife in between the center bar and the light cover. While pushing gently in, release first one side of the cover (90 degrees from where you are prying), then the other. Last bring the middle (where you are prying) outward until the end releases. This method is least likely to crack an old cover. Also note that it's easier at higher ambient temperatures--wait until the fixture is warm, either from a heater or warm weather. ... show more
