Awesome set! I bought it for my 6 year old daughter and my- almost five- year old son and they enjoyed it very much. There's a learning curve of course because it's way different from your every day Lego building skills but once they've figured it out, they had a blast! Definitely need to buy another set to accommodate their need to build different contraptions at once! We own several of these BRIO builder sets. My son really wanted this one. Unfortunately the motor really doesn't add much to the set, with new batteries it turned fairly slowly. Would be better if it had a speed control or remote. Disappointed.

Great product, crappy motor. We got this for the holiday this year. The motor is already going out. It’s also not able to be put together unless an adult helps.

We have three other Brio sets. This is a fun addition. The motor is very slow. It looks like the screw to the battery compartment will strip quickly. Bottomline: We are trying it out but it does not seem worth the money given the few pieces that come with it. Other Brio builder sets around this price point come with tons of pieces. If Brio wants to mark up this set just for the motor then the motor could have been designed better. ... show more
