The sprayer arrived in reasonably good condition with all required parts; part of the frame had been dented during shipment, but was easily bent back and did not impact its useability. The instructions are sufficient, but it requires a fair amount of assembly, I would set aside an hour or two to get everything up and running. I use it to spray weed killer on my lawn. I have been pulling it behind a Gator and it works quite well in this application. My Gator has a 12V cigarette lighter outlet, so instead of connecting it to the battery terminals, I crimped the leads to a RoadPro RP-203EC 12V 12' Extension Cord with Cigarette Lighter Plug and use that to power it. Without the 12' extension cord, I do not think the included power cable would be long enough to reach my battery. I have not used the wand, but can say that the sprayer function works well and seems to provide even coverage. I would estimate that the sprayer's coverage is a path about 7 feet wide and I was probably able to spray a little over an acres with 25 gallons. Although I have had no problems to this point, many of the components seem kind of cheap and fragile. Overall, it is a good setup that suits my application perfectly, but I'm not sure how long it will last and wouldn't be surprised if I end up needing to repair/replace parts in the future. ** Update (7/23/2017) ** This sprayer is now in its 4th season and still running strong. I have not been gentle with it and operate it in terrain for which it is probably not designed. The only issue I've had is that one of the nuts which secure the bottom of the sprayer arm mount came loose and fell off; I replaced it and added lock washers. I've had no other issues and am pleasantly surprised with how well it has held up. ... show more

I purchased this in March 2014, and have used it 6 or 7 times since then. When it arrived, there was one assembly item missing. I called the Brinly customer service #, and they shipped the part right away. It does a great job spraying my 1.5 acres, and my neighbor starting using on his 1.75 acres. Last weekend I used it and the pump stopped working. I called the Brinly customer service Monday morning, and they sent a new replacement pump that I received Thursday. again, they have excellent customer service and stand by the product. So far very pleased with the purchase and the company. UPDATE April 2015 - I have received replacement pumps from Brinly customer service. After the 2nd pump failed, I took it apart and found that there was some small particles on the diaphragm, preventing the pump from keeping a prime. I cleaned it out and the pump is now working. It is easy to remove the pump head, just remove the screws with a 'star' shaped screw head, rinse off the diaphragm and reassemble. ... show more

    • The frame collasped under its own weight upon the first time I used it.

This unit is certainly not worth the money. By the time I had finished spraying out one tank and started on the second tank of liquid, the frame had buckled in several places. The frame bent into a "V" shape around the axle, the rear and front of the frame buckled, the wheels, due to the buckling began rubbing against the tank on both sides nearly cutting hole into the tank, the left side metal support rod snapped at the frame leaving the spraying tree dragging on the ground on one side and the two knurled nuts which hold the sprayer arms in position had to be tightened every few minutes as they constantly worked themselves free leaving the arms wildly swinging any way they wanted. I spent 12 hours, and $150, rebuilding and redesigning the entire frame including replacing the wheels. You are better off paying $500 or more for a better unit. The only good thing I can say is that the pump and tank did work as expected. ... show more

I've only used this sprayer three times so far. It's easy to hook up and use. I like that its a spray on demand. When you spray, the pump comes on and shuts off when you're not spraying. The gpm and the distance of the spray really makes a job easier. I did have the pump freeze up when I was going to start spraying for the second time. I removed the end of the motor/pump housing and moved the parts, then re-assembled and its worked fine since. It's so light that I put it in the back of my pickup, filled it up and sprayed the fence line in the pasture. ... show more

Looks great when unpacked. When you look at all the fittings, they're all plastic, and most of them were already broken! Thankfully, my trusty junk drawer had all the fittings we needed. Go buy metal ones! Otherwise works as described.
