I see from the other reviews that you either love these things or hate 'em - they have worked beautifully for us. For the most part, we use them to light rock and mineral displays - they are small and easy to fit in small spaces - and the intensity of the light is just great. We have also used them in coolers, and that's worked fine as well. I have had 4 sets of these, various colors, so far and all of them have worked perfectly, and are still working (6 months after purchase, full time use). Cool product. I have gone through a few of these already. It lights up great and the batteries last a long time. They are fragile and break easy. Through trail and error i have learned that putting them in the bottom of the cooler is very cool to look at but doesn't last very long before it breaks. Run them along the top rim of the cooler and it will last much longer. Clear heavy duty packing tape works great to hold them in place ... show more

It snowed the first night we used it. The battery pack was in the outside of the cooler. It still works!! Love these little lights. Perfect luminosity for our bug cooler.

These are great! I use them when I go camping in the coolers so we can easily see at night. I also use them when I plan weddings. They can go straight into the ice or use for decor! Super worth the price definitely recommend!!

    • Overpriced Fairy Light
I was excited when I found this to light up my igloo party cooler. After two uses, the wire snapped and it became trash. Concept is great, but it essentially is fairy lights with a waterproof battery holder. I now realize there are alternate options, less expensive to give you the same effect.

Product works great and really lights up the inside of the cooler. Needs a better design on sealing the bottle for the batteries. After a while water seeps in.
