Cool product. I have gone through a few of these already. It lights up great and the batteries last a long time. They are fragile and break easy. Through trail and error i have learned that putting them in the bottom of the cooler is very cool to look at but doesn't last very long before it breaks. Run them along the top rim of the cooler and it will last much longer. Clear heavy duty packing tape works great to hold them in place ... show more

I see from the other reviews that you either love these things or hate 'em - they have worked beautifully for us. For the most part, we use them to light rock and mineral displays - they are small and easy to fit in small spaces - and the intensity of the light is just great. We have also used them in coolers, and that's worked fine as well. I have had 4 sets of these, various colors, so far and all of them have worked perfectly, and are still working (6 months after purchase, full time use). I was excited when I found this to light up my igloo party cooler. After two uses, the wire snapped and it became trash. Concept is great, but it essentially is fairy lights with a waterproof battery holder. I now realize there are alternate options, less expensive to give you the same effect.

These were awesome! They looked cool- but really added a benefit of being able to see which brand drink you were grabbing on late night rides! Everyone wanted to know where we got them. The battery lasted at least 18 solid hours or being on... we didn’t turn them off when we went to bed and they were still going strong. Very bright! Very happy with this purchase!     • I really liked the lights when I received them
I really liked the lights when I received them, however, they didn't last long through average wear and tear. Shortly after I started using it the wire between lights snapped and most of the strand no longer works. It's a really cool idea, and when it did work my 80 qt cooler lit completely up, but now it seems like a waste of money, since I only got a couple weeks out of it. ... show more

These are great! I use them when I go camping in the coolers so we can easily see at night. I also use them when I plan weddings. They can go straight into the ice or use for decor! Super worth the price definitely recommend!!
