I bought 5 sets (@14.99) and loved how they brightened up my lanai area. 2 days later I wanted to gran 2 more sets until I realized the price went up $7.00 dollars so I only ordered one set. I needed some affordable pathway lights and these are great. You can change them to white light or yellow light also low dim or bright which I like and they are bright enough to showcase my brick walls I would definitely buy again for my front yard tree trunk and backyard.

    • Great LED Flood Lights… Reliable, bright and easy to install!
These Brightown Solad LED Up/Spot Flood Lighting for landscape is reliable, bright and easy to install especially in sunny Florida. I bought these to light up a few Oak trees on my side yard and a few dark areas in the backyard that do not have low voltage connection capability close by so solar was the way to go with these. The package is nice, and the product was safely shipped. The quality of the LED light housing is a thick plastic. I’ve worked with other low voltage solar lighting and those plastic casings were nothing to write home about for sure. These however are very durable. The underside has a sprayed metallic coating. I have a set of these lights from another manufacturer. So I have a “baseline” of comparison, for what is reasonable and fair to expect of lights such as these. While these Brightown lights don’t meet all of my expectations, they work very well. I delayed my review so I could allow the fairest possible assessment of this set. The lights charge just fine but seem to lose there intensity around 3am, not a big deal for me since I don’t need the light after 12 or 1am anyway. They lit up out our oak trees nicely and have worked without fail since I put them in the ground. These lights are great. Extremely bright and the photo sensor pick up from a pretty good distance. I am also impressed that the solar power has not run out, even with the shorter days of daylight. I am very pleased with these lights! ... show more

    • Good and Bad
These lights are bright but poorly engineered. The screw that goes through the holder of the light will not tighten and thus one cannot attach the ground spike to the light head. No response from customer support. NOT recommended.

    • Perfect as doorway lights
We have a small garden area just outside the front doorway to the house. I staked these solar spotlights on the edge of the garden and pointed them both at the doorway. Voilà! We now have automatic dusk-to-dawn lighting for the front doorway, with no power requirement beyond a reasonably sunny day. Setup is as easy as staking the lights into the ground and waiting for the sun to go down. These lights emit a lower level of brightness than the powered overhead doorway light, but I consider that a good thing. You can switch between white or yellow tinted light, and change the brightness level to 30, 60 or 100 percent using the remote. We use the white light (6000K) set to 60% brightness, and find that to be a perfect level of brightness for the doorway. This time of year (mid-Feb) the lights come at around 6:30pm, and stay lit past 1am. At some point between 1am and 6am, the lights go out. The next day they charge up again, and the cycle repeats. With where we have them placed, I would guess the lights are getting roughly 7 hours of direct sunlight per day. Overall, we are very satisfied with this product. What a great find these solar pathway lights are! I can use them to highlight my brick walls because of their versatility—they have brightness levels that can be adjusted and options for both white and yellow light. They're bright enough to attractively light up my garden. These lights are very well-made and a fantastic bargain, even with the plastic connectors. They are also quite easy to install. Their efficiency and charm have completely changed my outside area, and I would strongly suggest them to anyone who wants to improve the lighting in their garden or walkway without going over budget. ... show more

    • Bright and long lasting
These are bright little solar lights. We set them up in our backyard to help us see when we take our dog out at night. We have them set in a South facing direction, so they receive light all day to receive full charges. I have them set at the lowest brightness (warm) light setting and they are bright. I have not tried the remote control, because the instructions state that it disables the dusk-on feature. So, I just leave them as they are. It's not hard to change the setting using the button on the back. These come with wall mounting hardware, or you can stake them into the ground. We currently have them in the ground but will be mounting them on the wall so their light would travel further. There isn't really a wide adjustment to the angle of them, so when they are in the ground you can point straight down or up a little to have some spotlight ability. I think the lights being further up would allow for better lighting spread. ... show more

    • Very bright Solar "spot" lights
These Solar lights have been easy to put into a dark desert yard to provide "free" lighting! The solar charging panel on each fixture quickly allowed the lights to be used for perimeter lighting. There are 24 LED lights on two fixtures that equal the stated "24" LED lights in the description. The set comes with plastic spikes to attach to each light that can then be put into the ground or wall mounted, along with a remote control. We have opted not to use the remote since doing so disables the automatic dusk-to-dawn feature, which we prefer, however, the remote can be used to set the fixture brightness and timing of the lights from 4-hours, 6-hours or 8-hours. ... show more
