Great for dry skin. Helps exfoliate without drying out skin. I wet my shin in warm water. Massage it in well. Let it sit while I shower and use a wash cloth to help exfoliate dead skin cells off. Leaves my skin very smooth and soft. Not dried out.

This 'Creamy' cleanser is indeed very creamy... soooo rich. I have very, very sensitive skin and the majority of cleansers and soaps on the market cause my skin to breakout. I've been using triple milled soaps for years (lavender or peppermint) to cleanse my face as they don't cause me to breakout but they aren't very moisturizing... leaving my face clean but also dry. Applying moisturizers to my face to address the dryness is a no-no as they cause instant breakouts, so again my face is clean but dry. I recently decided to try a turmeric and vitamin c clay mask to address the dryness and to diminish the appearance of pock marks in the hopes that the mask would not cause breakouts to my sensitive skin. In my search to find a cleanser enriched with vitamin c as an accompaniment to the mask, I came across the Andalou BRIGHTENING Meyer Lemon + C Creamy Cleanser. WOW, what a find!! I've been using this cleanser for two weeks (I stopped using the triple milled soap on my face) and it is a game changer for me... I can actually say that I have a skin care routine! I use the cleanser twice a day (morning and night) and I definitely see/feel the difference on my face: * The cleanser is creamy and rich * You only need a small amount * Leaves my skin soft and smooth * I've noticed that dry patches are healing * No irritation to my skin whatsoever * Nice, subtle citrus scent If you have very sensitive skin and you're looking for a cleanser that won't cause breakouts and also leaves your skin soft and smooth, you should try this. ... show more

I read that this was a very good cleanser with safe ingredients so I bought it. While I don't mind using products with a mild scent, this is strong. It's not a bad scent per se, but it's just too strong for me. It's a good cleanser, but I wouldn't buy it again only 'cause the scent was just too strong. Too bad. Otherwise, I like it.
