I’m a male and don’t particularly enjoy the scents from Lume’s “masculine” brand Mando so I instead buy this clean tangerine scent. I find it very neutral, pleasant and fresh. Definitely a unisex fragrance. That aside, why I really enjoy this is how well it works. The cleansing is superb without overdrying or irritating my skin. Body odor is eliminated even in “those” areas. The unexpected benefit that I personally encountered was its ability to help reduce the acne and hyperpigmentation spots that I had on my upper back and shoulders. I’m assuming this is due to the mandelic acid and its antibacterial properties. I strongly believe in a few more months it will be completely cleared and I’ve tried lots of other products before that are aimed specifically at those issues. I actually bought Lume Body wash for the first time to bathe my little dog. He has very sensitive skin and can gets smelly very quickly. I thought he might have a skin infection, but the vet said that he didn’t. I like to bathe the dog once a week, but he really needed it a lot more frequently than that. The shampoo from the vet helped a little, but it wasn’t a fix. On a chance it might work, I bought Lume body wash. It worked great for the dog. He never smells bad even when it’s time for his weekly bath. He always smells clean and fresh. When I ran out of my own body wash, that I normally use myself, I grabbed the dog’s Lume and I used it. Honestly this would’ve gotten a 5/5 star from me however some of the scents especially the floral ones smelled either too strong or very similar to the other. I read the reviews and decided to try it as Im already using the deodorant. Fantastic duo, it lathers well and I use it as an all over body wash. I feel cleaner when I use the wash it doesn’t leave a residue. Price point it decent for the size. No smells after a long day

I can't say enough good things about this deodorant. I use it on my feet and my ugg boots that I have worn every day for two months don't have a smell at all (normally by now they would smell like Doritos). I use it in combination with my perfumes and it does not mess with the fragrance. My manager is sensitive to smells and I have gotten her into using it and she used to just go all natural. I think it works best if you are also using the soap with it as far as keeping the onion smell away for longer, because after I added the body wash there was a noticeable difference. I also noticed that there wasn't the weird extra stinky detox period that you usually get when you switch to natural deodorants because it covers that smell. It doesn't last as long as secret or other antiperspirants but it works great for normal daily use and is less irritating on my sensitive skin. I also noticed that after using it for a while, even if I forget to put it on, I don't smell as strongly as I would have a couple months ago. ... show more

I use this on my below the waist parts. It does smell like a clean tangerine when you dispense it from the tube and lather up. A little goes a long way, so you don't need to use much to get clean. There is no scent at all after you rinse it off and it doesn't help ward off odors for 24 hrs. It's a gel type wash, so the texture is nice. Watch out if you get any on your tub floor though. It will be very slippery. You won't see it though to know you spilled it since the product is clear. Overall, I like the product and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin which is a big deal for me. However, for the price and lack of efficacy with not controlling new odor for 24 hrs , that has been disappointing. While I think it's pricey, I will say that since I only use it below the waist and the tube did last me several months (and I shower every day), that helped to justify the price a bit. ... show more

This is a great smelling product! Some of the other Lume products have missed the mark with the scent but not this one! It smelles really fresh and revitalizing. It also has a lower ph so it keeps your skins ph lower inhibiting the bacteria from growing and then causing odor. It works well especially if you work out alot and sweat.
