I’ve struggled with acne my whole life and have tried so many products over the years. This facial spray has genuinely become one of my skincare essentials. I use the SkinSmart Anti-Microbial Facial Cleanser morning and night, and even throughout the day — especially when I’m sweating or working out — and it’s made a huge difference in keeping my skin clear and healthy. It helps cleanse away bacteria (which is one of the biggest causes of breakouts), but without drying out my skin at all. It’s totally invisible, doesn’t leave a weird flaky residue, and I even spray it over makeup with no issues. It also feels really refreshing when it’s hot out — kind of like a cooling mist and a skin treatment in one. I have super sensitive skin, so I appreciate how gentle this is. Just a heads up: it does have a bit of a “pool” smell at first (like chlorine), but it disappears quickly — and honestly, whatever’s in it works, so I don’t mind. To be transparent, I also drink more water now and take Spironolactone and use Tretinoin, so I know my routine is a mix of things. But this spray plays a big role. I don’t get those deep, painful breakouts anymore — just the occasional small one here and there. I’ve come such a long way with my skin, and I’m really proud of how far it’s come. Also: one bottle has lasted me almost a year, and I still have some left. A little goes a long way. I've been recently suffering from cystic acne around my chin and my cheeks. I understand hormonal acne is near the chin but I didn't know why I was getting acne in other areas. I decided to give this product a try because of dermatologists endorsing it on Tiktok. Because I usually don't sweat and I workout in the middle of the day, I used to not wash my face and continue on with my day. I learned that this product is good after workouts so I started using it in this way. However, I would just spritz it on my face and not wash/rinse it off. Good news is that my cystic acne disappeared in all facial areas. I still get some acne around the chin but I don't have any on my cheeks. The bad news was that my skin became extremely dry. It was sloughing off like how a snake sheds its skin. So, I highly recommend using this product after you workout and also washing your face immediately after. Since washing it immediately after spritzing, my acne has stayed away and my skin is less dry. I tried using it on my underarms but I didn't notice a difference. The only thing I know is that it is non-irritating. To me, this product smells faintly like chlorine. It's fine but not ideal. My cat even mistakes it for faint bleach as she likes to smell my face after I use it. However, for what it does, I will tolerate the scent as the product is eventually washed off anyways. If you're looking to find an alternative way to help your acne, I think this product is worth a try. It's inexpensive and not irritating (just potential drying).

Let’s start with the basics: the spray itself is super gentle — no stinging, no weird smell, and no sticky or drying residue like some acne treatments leave behind. I have combination, acne-prone skin that gets irritated easily, but this spray has been nothing but soothing and calming, even when my skin is acting up. I love this brand and have ordered several types of this cleanser. Originally, I was looking for something to clean my daughter's eczema areas but have found so many uses for it. I love it for cleaning out cuts and scrapes and keeping them clean so they heal much faster. They even have a type for pets and so I used it on my fur-baby's last surgery stitches (especially if I noticed him licking that area) and was very impressed with how fast it healed. I ordered the pack of small ones so I could take it in my bag on vacation.
