This ship is a reminder why you don’t buy off brand lego. The pieces wouldn’t snap together. Was poorly constructed. The pieces were not sorted. All just one giant bag. Huge disappointment. Oh yeah and the rigging doesn’t connect on the bottom by design. Awful. Don’t buy.

I ordered this as a gift for my grandson. I’m not very happy. After taking apart all the tiny packages with accessories AND then trying to put the pieces together, it was finally determined that it was ALMOST impossible. I guess I thought thus was a LEGO brand item. It definitely is NOT. The pieces are way too hard to connect/attach/fit. It basically is just a very frustrating experience. The media could not be loaded. Is hard to assemble and is pain in the fingers attaching or removing parts, when is completed the ship easy fall down and breaks is not sturdy

awesome build, very easy and my son loves it. the hardest part of the build was the masts/sails which is why it gets 4 stars. getting the pieces into the mast was horrible, had bruises left on my thumbs for a week and a small cut from it. best way to do it, put the piece you want into it on a hard surface and then push the mast down on top of it (less likely to hurt your thumbs this way) the sails were just a pain as the paper didnt want to bend to fit right, we ended up folding the corners some so it would have flexibility. other than those two parts it went together pretty quick. ... show more

I bought this for my grandson, who was unable to assemble it because the parts didn't snap together very well and decent directions were lacking. He needed A LOT of help, and the fact that almost all the parts are black made assembly more difficult for elderly eyes.     • These are not the Lego pieces we've come to love
These pieces are very similar but off by microns of normal Lego pieces. I found assembling this with my LO to be extremely frustrating due to the extra force needed to lock the pieces together that I could barely pull off let alone him. This set should be targeted for 20 plus or planning to assemble with some sort of tool. Overall for price I'm glad I took the gamble and have positive experience with some other knock-off sets. In general I definitely keep normal Lego pieces together, mixing with these would definitely be frustrating. ... show more
