I should have bought all they had when I could. I mean for $26.00 for a 5-Gallon kit! Worked great, sadly this must have been a going out of business sale, as they don't sell these kits anymore. Rats.

This thing came with yeast bottle caps and priming sugar. That’s crazy most of the time I have to buy these separate which is annoying but this kit is great as long as you have a fermenting bucket and bottles. That’s all you need!

    • Great ingredients, not the best recipe.
Called for two additions of hops, which I thought was weird for a dry Irish stout. But trust the process, right? Alas, it's overly hopped on aroma, excessively bitter for the style, generally not representative of the intended beer category. The mouth feel and flavor seems good, but I think the hops should be cut in half at a minimum, maybe even switch either to slightly staled or a classic low AA variety. Other kits from this company have been excellent but this recipe needs revised. ... show more
