Finally got it and I can't wait to use it. You can make the healthiest smoothie in the world with this. Nothing but frozen fruits and veggies. It's an explosion of taste when you take a sip. No powders no milk, nothing but the best ingredients. Perfect consistency. It has a top row of buttons for just smoothie making. What a treasure it is. I love this blender. I have, over my lifetime, bought some cheaper blenders and gave them away after just not using them because they didn't mix well and were hard to clean. The jug is plastic which makes it easier to lift when full, but the plastic is solid and doesn't feel cheap. The most fun feature is the clean button. I had no idea what was going to happens when I pushed that button and have to admit it was "impressive". It works so well. I rinse the jug out quickly, add a couple cups of water and a splash of dishwashing liquid and turn it on. Then run again with just clear water. It makes clean up a breeze! I've had this blender for about 3 months and the container leaks now when I blend. Need to get warranty replacement - 5 year warranty seems like it should cover it. Overall this is a great blender for under $200, despite the above issue. Cleanup is super easy - there's a cycle for it on the blender. Dishwasher safe if you don't feel like just cleaning it after use. They actually thought it though and put strategically placed drain holes, so you don't end up with a big wet mess from your dishwasher. All the blenders in this class will be noisy. The programs are great because you can set it, walk away for a few minutes while it is being noisy doing its job. Or if you're a jerk, it is a hilarious way to wake everyone else in the house up for breakfast. But then they can't be angry when you made them smoothies, right? ... show more

I've been using this a couple times a week for around two years now. I haven't had any problems with it and it's been working well for me. I like the self-clean cycle which makes cleaning it easier. I really like this blender. The innovative lid is perfect for a clumsy oaf like me, and the 5 speed settings? Talk about control! The BPA free Tritan jug is just the cherry on top - health-conscious and chic. It's my go-to for morning smoothies. I'd say it's the best thing since sliced bread, but that was before blenders. I waited a bit to write this review as I have had several "smoothie makers" that just end up quitting or falling apart. So far I'm loving this one. I make smoothies every morning with frozen fruit, milk and yogurt. I just always use the green smoothie button and it works great. There seriously is a difference in the way this one blends the smoothies. They are "fluffier" and smoother. The blending goes throgh a few different cycles, first grinding everything up, and then smoothing and fluffing. The ONLY thing that bugs me about it is the same thing others have said about the lid. It is tricky to get off and no doubt you will splash some of the liquid from lid. But I can handle it for a great machine. I have a few Breville products and love them all. ... show more
