We needed an A/C unit to cool the room for my invalid mom. this one worked great to do that. It's quite and very efficient. We haven't had a reason to use the heating element of this unit but I'm sure it will work just as well.

Works great. The window exhaust panel was too long and had to be cute down 7 inches before it would fit in window. Easily cut down with my dremel tool as it is just plastic.

It's a great air conditioner. At the end of last summer my unit stopped working and there was no way for me to move it by myself which is a total pain. I have a very small duplex so this unit is technically to big according to BTU's needed per square feet but personally I rather have it to big then for it to not be big enough. It took my me a minute to get it out of the box. Otherwise less than 30 minutes for me to get it all together and working. Felt the difference immediately within 30 minutes pretty much my whole place was cooled off. I highly recommend! I lucked out with a coupon and I had won a gift card so it made the price with shipping right at $200 and it's so easy to move. I couldn't be happier! This portable air conditioner works excellent in my 350 sq ft efficiency apartment. As quiet as 2 others we purchased, but that’s normal for these units to make compressor noise. Venting is a breeze. The best thing about it is that it provides heat in the winter. My building is 130 years old here in SD, windows are still leaky even with storm windows. This old boiler system just can’t handle the extreme cold we get here. The price with the heat option was comparable to some without heat, it’s a great deal if you need heat also, good deal if not.
