I recently purchased the Brebebe Door Anchor Strap to enhance my home workouts with resistance bands. The concept of a multi-point anchor gym attachment sounded promising, offering the versatility to switch up my exercise routine. Unfortunately, the anchor strap did not function as intended. Upon setting it up, I quickly realized that the strap lacked the stability and strength needed to support my resistance bands. ** Update. Moving from 2 stars to 5! Company saw that I had a problem and sent me a replacement at no cost to me. I was so impressed. Thank you very much! Band had a flaw when received, but seemed to work / stretch fine so I was not concerned. Broke after the 30 day return period and no way to contact seller after that point. Disappointed, as I really liked the set if not for this issue.

I wanted to add this to my walking routine. It was super easy to set up and start using right away. It has a few exercises but check out YouTube for more. Not going to lie, I was sore for a couple of days, but doing better now and can do more reps.

Updated: Seller wrote to me and offered me a full refund or a free upgrade to the version of this with the ratchet. I thought that was good. This version without the ratchet is too loose to use in a small space-- I had it on my basement door in a hallway which would have had enough room had it been tight, but not enough with the give it had due to a staircase. The concept of this is great, but it's not possible to tighten it all the way. If you are planning on using it in a smaller space like this, consider the ratchet one, though I can't speak to its effectiveness because I did not get that one.

I have been trying to use resistance bands for the last year and a half since going to physical therapy (PT) and getting help learning exercises to strengthen my shoulders. I had tried wedging the band between the door and the jamb, etc, etc. Finally I just stopped doing them and my shoulders got worse again. I already had the bands, so I just got the anchor strap, and it has made a huge difference for me. I don't like doing the exercises to begin with, so any additional setup/inconvenience was too much. The strap just stays on the door all the time, closer to the doorknob, which has worked fine, because my husband hangs his pants on the back of our bedroom door. I grab the resistance band, thread it through the space, and then do my exercises in about 15 minutes. No effort, has not *moved* since I put it on the door. My cat occasionally plays with the extra bit that hangs down, but so far that has not caused any issues. It's as secure as when I put it up 2 months ago. Be prepared for the anchor strap to pull away from the door a bit when you pull towards you - it's supposed to do that and not lay flat against the door, so give yourself a few extra inches. I literally have like not even 3 feet to do my exercises in but this makes it so easy that it's enough. So grateful for this brilliant product! Will update my review if I run into any issues in the future.
