Breaker has been looking for his son for over a month but it’s like every clue doesn’t lead to what he needs. Till some college kid come to see him and gives him a name. Then one night at the clubs,club this young guy starts a fight and breaker breaks it up but the kid is just trying to fight with him more. While outside trying to get the kid to leave the kid is still picking a fight with breaker when if has just had enough and puts the kid on his but. But it just so happen the cops where driving by so they arrest them both. That night the kids sister gets him out of jail and Storm gets breaker out. That’s when Callie and Breaker see each other for the first time and it makes a impression on the both of them. She likes what she sees and he released she the girl he needs to talk to about his son. So that’s how things start to get complicated. So enjoy another good read and see what trouble and if they get a HEA or not !! ... show more

Wow her writing style is great. Breaker and Callie felt a pull to be together. Like the first book there was way to much back and forth between the main characters its tiresome . even after they were together there is worse back and forth between them. When breaker finds his son, if he wasn't in the frame of mind to talk to Callie ,he should have just told her to go to sleep , not been a jerk and said mean crap that he didn't even remember saying later .and the fact that Callie forgave her mother for everything was B.S. her mother even admitted she knew Preston didn't look at Callie right even before they were married , so she knowingly picked money and security over her own daughter .what kind of crap is that . ... show more

This is the second book in the Dark Slayers MC series. It's a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. This is a story about a H who is the SAA of the Dark Slayers and who's son has gone missing, and a h who is a friend of the H son and now they are working together to find him. Add into the mix: a crazy stepfather, a devious mother and some cults. Read to find out what happens. Breaker has been frantically looking for his son. He's told that Callie might have information he needs. The sparks are flying as soon as they meet. They're soon enmeshed with each other even when Breaker feels she too young for him and that his son might be in love with Callie himself. The drama and suspense drives the story beautifully.     • Great club development but couldn’t relate to main character
The world she was developing was great and lots of neat ideas but honestly this was one of the least appealing main female leads I’ve read about - her inexperience in life was unbelievable at this age and she was hard to like when she thinks “I wish i knew how to let him know I’m interested” or when she runs off when she’s embarrassed- just not a like ale or a relatable female lead - no strength of character - had to quit reading and move on to try and see if next book could recapture my interest ... show more

Not usually interested in age gap romance but this was an interesting book with a lot of subplots. Breaker was looking for his son, Callie had bad things going on at her home and there were such differences in their ages and experiences.
