  • The handlebar mounting clamp base accommodates handlebars 0.87''(22mm) / 1''(25mm) / 1.26''(32mm) in diameter.
  • Come with four soft rubber ring inserts to provide a snug fit and protection of the mounting surface. Rubber ring pads diameter : 0.87''(22mm), 1.0''(25mm). You can add or remove them depending on the size of the handlebars. When the rubber ring insert is not embedded, the hole diameter of the handlebar clamp base is 1.26" (32mm).
  • The mounting clamp base utilizes rubber-insert and Lockbolts to prevent loosening in high vibration. Set comes with an Allen key for easy installation.

    • Works but close fit
If you are using handle bars with a high riser it is close to the uprights. That being said it also interferes with the brake and shift cables. So little to say it works great if you're using flat bars.

    • The mounting arms are short.
This extension does what I wanted-gets my auxillary headlight into a position where it mounts straight. Not sure how effective it will be as I add more attachments. The arms are so short the bar barely clears the wiring harness and digital interface on my Rad Rover 6+ e-bike. Because it fits so close it was difficult to add the mount for my headlight. The bar itself could be an inch or two longer (more useable) if the arms were longer giving it more clearance. If you don't have a wiring harness and your handlebars are more straight in the center you will probably be happier than I am with the purchase. The BRCOVAN Aluminum Alloy Handlebar Extensions is shown on my single speed gravel bike with aero bars and bike compute installed to it. The Areo bar and bike computer needed shims to mate with the BRCOVAN Aluminum Alloy Handlebar Extensions- I actually used one of the shims that came with the BRCOVAN Aluminum Alloy Handlebar Extensions on my bike computer- :) Pro-Bar installed easily and came with shims to use if needed. Pro- came with Allen wrench to install Pro- plenty of clearance to use original handlebars even with winter gloves. Machining quality, free of burrs, mating parts fit well, screws could be hand threaded to start. No cross threading. Threads held torque after first ride without use of lock washers or threadlocker ... show more
