A great speaker for the discounted price. We have connected it wirelessly to a bedroom TV for improved volume control and sound orientation. It has great volume and is extremely sturdy. Only wish it had WiFi connectivity and an app. Increasing and decreasing the volume is a guessing game without an app or a lighted volume level indicator on the speaker. A little disappointed in the USB rechargeable battery life. So, we generally keep it plugged into a power source, but not sure if this is a good practice.

A solid waterproof speaker, would buy again. Only two issues, neither a dealbreaker. You can pair with another speaker for stereo, which usually works fine but sometimes doesn't. I'm guessing it has BT sync issues, sometimes the sound cuts out for up to a second or two, very distracting. The other issue is that since the volume control isn't a dial, there are steps between each volume level. At the lower levels these steps are too far apart, one being almost too quiet to hear and the next being too loud for a quiet room where you are just looking for ambiance sound. Either way, a good solid built speaker.

This item was ok, until it stopped working after 3 months of light use, meanwhile My BRV1 is still usable. The sound quality is average, it’s very heavy, and the battery doesn’t lay that long for it sounds so average and be so heavy. You can find a better buy elsewhere. It just started going haywire one day. Working fine then the next day it would drop pairing, or it would turn off after a few minutes ect. Would not recommend

So we had the previous version braven. It was great for 7 years. The battery is showing signs of death. So we replaced it with this version. The sound quality has not improved much. It’s good the price dropped from $99 to the current price, about half price. If you are looking for the best, Sony’s waterproof, PI67 rated, Bluetooth speaker system is the ticket. But it’s price tag is $150. The braven is better designed for the water and beach environments. We take it out on out boggie board when we wade in the water. The Sony maybe rated but it’s too pretty and expensive to be taking it out on the water. The braven floats and has strap slots to carry it.

This speaker is a must buy. I own several speakers from ION and JBL. I would put Braven to compete with JBL when it comes to sound and features. The price is unmatched if you can get one when it’s on sale. It has USB-C charging, 20w output , 18hr battery life( I get 10 on full volume) , call/siri button, and it floats with a IPX 7 rating. Sound is crisp with little to no distortion on full volume. It also comes with a loop lanyard that you can attach to the 2 hook and loop slots. ( I usually take two Velcro straps and secure it to my front bike rack ). Great for outdoor use. I’ve dropped my JBL Charge3 and Clip3 before and either the front plate came off or something in the speaker would rattle. I like the boxy design with a metal chassis and a rubber shell.

I’m a mail man and use this while on my route. It’s small rugged and has great sound. I do have to charge it every night. Forgot one day and it died halfway thru the day. I would say it lasts about 7-8 hrs at medium volume on a full charge. If you are charging ur phone and using the speaker at the same time, half that time. I like it a lot.

Excelent power and sound quality, if you pair two units you can get a deep stereo cover of your room, just don't separate them more than 6M or 20 ft to maintain the signal synchronized. Consider that the quality of sound also depends of your device, if you have a old or entry level cellphone perhaps it can't take all that this speakers can give.

This product isn't that bad. Its pretty loud, light weight, and a decent battery life the only thing I dislike about it is the strap. I would rather have a actual clip on strap then a bulk slip strap with a open loop hook
