The cooling side is true that it's definitely not as hot as most other pillows. Still gets warm, but I'm not waking up sweating like I used to. One night I woke up so hot and thought "this dang pillow, just like the rest" then I realized that I had it on the bamboo side. Whoops, my bad. Flipped it over and went right back to sleep. The package comes with extra stuffing which I had to take out about equivalent of that from my pillow. My hubby likes his as is. The only thing I did not care for was the odor when it arrives. But airing it out for a few days worked. If not for that would've been 5 stars. But I would absolutely purchase these pillows again.

I absolutely love the pillows. They were a little firmer than I wanted, so I took some stuffing out... but they made it super simple. It makes my bed look FANTASTIC and the dual sides ... GENIUS! I'm usually a hot sleeper (menopause) and this makes me cooling down amazing, I haven't broken out in a hot sweat since using the pillow.. which is 2 weeks.

Conforms to your head, neck and shoulders. Plus it’s adjustable to your comfort level. Since using these pillows, my husband’s snoring has decreased and I don’t need to use my Cervical collar. We both have the loft as it was sent. We’ll adjust as needed but I don’t think we will. It’s comfortable and the dual sides are great to have.
