    • Great Product - Caught me by surprise
I rarely take the time to write reviews. The Braun Electric Razor Series 9 9296CC arrived two days ago and I've used it once. I will update this review if anything changes or I learn something new. Since the start of working from home, I've been shaving about 1x per week. I also shave my head (Harry's shaver & gel) which roughly doubles the amount of time and energy I have to put into it and no electric razor I've previously tried, ever got the job done - even when pulling the skin and rubbing my scalp raw. The Braun arrived and I had 5 days of growth - I'm not the hairiest, don't really get a 5 o'clock shadow, but I've got decent growth after 5 days. This electric razor blew my mind. It took next to no time and left my head just a smidge less smooth than a blade. The longer length of my hair and beard was hardly and issue. Even at the top of where my ears meet my head (hard to reach area), which with a shaver and gel can take a few strokes, this razor had no issue. You get what you pay for, and this electric razor is worth every penny of the price (if it keeps performing like this). I'll also note that this is classic German engineering, so the odds are that it will keep performing and last a lifetime (or until I get lazer hair removal on my scalp - which is unlikely).     • The best of the best !!!
The adjustable lever on the unit to gat eyebrows ear hair and mostly squaring off the side burns . Kinda totally useless I guess in a pinch it’ll work kinda like if you had a fork and a spoon on a Swiss Army knife someday it’ll come in handy but I would invest in a real pair of trimmers (not)clippers that’ll give you way better results!!! Other than that you can’t get a better electric shaver !!! This is a awesome shaver it just takes off stubble in seconds leaving behind a extremely sooth skin Dont bother cleaning them just push a button and it cleans the blades automatically with a solution that sterilizes the unit spend the extra money and get this one !!! ... show more

    • A solid working electric shaver
I came over from the rotary electric shaver world with tepid expectation. This shaver has met and surpassed the close shave I got from the rotary. It is a bit heavier, noisier, and the shaving head heats up much quicker than the rotary, but it does a very nice job of cutting close. I can get the shaving task completed in less time with this unit as well which is a bonus. The side trimmer is not the greatest design, but it does get the job done.     • Worked for 4 years.
This is a good shaver, I bought this shaver June of 2021. The PCB circuit board in the shaver recently became faulty and now it no longer works. So I got about 4 years out of this shaver. I will probably get another one but I just wish it would last longer than 4 years.

    • Best Electric Razor I Have Ever Owned
Bottom Line Up Front: If you can get this razor at a good sale price, then don't hesitate to buy it. I have been using electric razors for a couple of decades now, starting with the Philips Norelco rotary style and moving to the Braun razors about 15 years ago. I have owned model 3s, 5s, and 7s, and this blows them all out of the water. I did not know it could be leaps and bounds better than my current 7 Series Braun shaver, yet it is. The charging/cleaning base is larger than any of the previous versions, but it seems to work just as well, if not slightly better. That said, there is a big negative with this razor, and that is the price. At $300 it is really hard to justify spending that much on a razor when there are so many other priorities in life. Is it really worth that much money, it depends on how it holds up, but only time will tell. ... show more

    • Made me an electric shaver fan again
I had a Braun 8 series for 15 years- - too much of a hassle to get a close shave. The rechargeable batteries were not powering the shaver enough and getting a close shave was next to impossible. Started using blades again to get a close shave- Bought the Braun series 9 and was pleasantly surprised. Great feel in the hand- close comfortable shave-shaves the neck well - travels well with a small footprint and holds a charge for two weeks of shaves- maybe more. I love it and will not use blades again. I use it for dry shaving and I look forward to shaving. Great product! ... show more
