    • Difficult to sit close to counter
We ordered three of the white bar stools and they are pretty and look nice at our countertop. They arrived quickly, were carefully packaged with protective wrap, and were easy to assemble. They are well-padded. However, we find they tend to slope to the front so it is an effort to keep from sliding to the front, even when you push yourself against the back support of the chair. The arms are curved so far forward that they prevent you from getting in the chair if it is pulled up to the counter. That means there is a wide gap between you and your food, making it uncomfortable to eat a meal. And lastly, we were expecting the bases to be as wide as the seats, but they are smaller. This makes the seats not as sturdy. It is most difficult to purchase a chair without having sat in it. We looked at local furniture stores and were unable to find anything that was comfortable, swiveled, adjusted height, and was sturdy. We decided at $90 each, we could manage with them until they wore out. However, we would not buy them again. ... show more

Loving our stools so far (less than a month old)! Very easy set up and they are super comfortable, with plenty of room for most bodies. Though we loved our old stools, the faux leather disintegrated due to our beachfront location. We bought these specifically because it stated that the material from the seats are waterproof. Perfect. Color is beautiful and they are super comfortable. However..... you need to weigh at least 100 pounds to lower the seat while sitting. My elderly mom weighs in at 95 and can't lower it unless I give her a 5 lb weight to hold, lol!
