The design is strange. There are two pieces, the inside piece was made tight and the outside piece was very long. Doesn’t make any sense. I will take it to the laundry store and have the person there to shorten the out side piece and make it fit.

Honestly, this feels well-made. The stitching is strong and it has the extra straps to tighten it exactly how you need it. You can feel it keeping things relatively where you want them. The only real downside, and this may just be personal preference, is the support rods in the back. I didn't feel like they really gave me enough support in the back, as the support rods were obviously made of plastic and bent with my back as I bent over. Maybe that is supposed to happen, but I feel like I would like a little more support there. ... show more

I have been wearing this back brace for low back pain. It fits well on my waist, the velcro is strong and good to give a loose or snug fit as desired. The fabric is comfortable and breathable, I don't feel too hot or sweaty wearing it for long periods of time. The supporting braces at the back do help support my lower back, especially the area where I feel the most pain. Having back pain for years due to an injury, I’ve tried my share of back braces. They are kind of like pillows, what might be perfection for one person, won’t be comfortable for someone else. This back brace didn’t work for me. i didn’t feel support where I needed it and to be honest it had too much pressure on my bladder. But I don’t want to discourage others from trying it. The quality is exceptional and the method of support a little different than others I’ve tried. So it might be the one you are looking for ... show more

I'm a little over weight but not huge. I don't know how they can say this is 'one size'. It's not too large. No instructions came with it. You wrap the larger piece and velcro where it is firm but not tight. Then the outer pieces go together like the 1st to get the tightness and support you need. I wish that it had velcro on both ends of the 2nd strap so you can adjust it minutely. You have to hope it can reach the other strap to tighten. It does feel good when wearing and breathable.
