This is a little on the expensive side but its definitely worth it. I dont know what kind of back problem I have but this helped stop the pain and probably stopped it from getting a lot worse. Its not too comfortable to sleep in, especially laying on your back but you can kinda make it work sleeping on your side or stomach. Sure it sucks to have to sleep with it on sometimes but the relief it provides outweighs the little bit of discomfort. It just feels like wearing a really small stiff backpack. Out the box, it was a bigger than I wanted but the waist part is adjustable as well as the 2 other straps. I ordered this product a day ago and it came early. Thank goodness. I’m in a lot of pain due to a compression fracture in my T12. I can sit with plenty of support and walk others needed support. I see my orthopedic doctor tomorrow so hopefully this is a brace they recommend. Will follow up with their answers. ... show more

It does not tighten up and support the way some of the other ones do. I may have had a faulty one. I ordered it because I did not want to spend the $900 at the orthopedic. When I tried another one that was in the same price range I noticed that the whole strings that tighten it gave more support. I looked To return it, but my window had just closed. Amazing support and ease of use! I have a t3 compression fracture and a L2 herniated disc and this sucker relieves the pain as soon as I tighten up the cords. Easily adjustable as well. Not complicated to use either. Put it on and fit within 5 minutes out of the box!
