The frame tubing is even sturdier than expected! The pipe diameter is very similar to the top pipes found on chain link fencing. The piping slips into the receiving ends of other pipes (like chain link top rails) or the corner joints snugly, but accurately. Each joint is secured with a hex bolt and castle nut (nylon washer built in to keep tight) that go through drilled holes of both the inside pipe piece and the receiving pipe or joint piece. Corner connectors are welded and chromed. I assembled it alone in about an hour with the tools provided and only a step ladder needed for the top section (almost retired 5'5" woman). The greenhouse is spacious with a footprint of 8' x 7' and center height of nearly 8'. The door has high quality coil zippers, one on each side with two straps that snap buckle to hold it up when open (shown in one picture). The four windows are held closed by velcro around the edges (two sides plus the bottom) effectively sealing out a breeze if desired. The windows each have screen mesh when the are open to keep out bugs. They also have snap buckle straps to hold them up when rolled up. The frame strength and design is impressive, but the reinforced edges of the covering material is also very impressive. The green reinforced fabric (like backpack fabric) provides a surface that is desgned to take any wear and tear from friction that might accur with wind rubbing the fabric on the frame. I looked at a lot of greenhouses in this price range, above and below this price and this model BY FAR offered features that would extend its lifespan by many years. My plan is to disassemble at the end of spring/early summer and reassemble next year. I believe that I will be able to acomplish this solo and easily store the frame patially assembled in my garage with ease. ... show more

This was super easy to put together, but the instructions were nothing but a labeled picture. It would have been helpful to have some instructions or at least tips. I started by building the top or roof and worked my way down. You need to be mindful of the direction you insert the bolts, so that the ends of bolts won't tare the plastic covering. Once the frame was together it was difficult to get the cover on with only one person. I would recommend getting a helper for that step. Also, the tie down stakes that come with the greenhouse are a joke. They are about 5 inches long and would not hold anything down in the wind. I used some curved rebar and that should do the trick. Got this to keep deer and puppies from eating my tomatoes, among other plants! It was simple enough to put together using the one diagram as instructions. Some of the curved pieces and tube ends needed to be reshaped (hammer, and a metal file), but all in all i was able to put it together in about 45 minutes, with my hubby helping in the last few minutes put the top onto the base. I didn't use the stakes it came with, instead using much better/longer tent stakes and staked it from the inside pipes rather than using the built-in loops on the outside of the cover. Pros: It's actually pretty sturdy, and a great size for the price, definitely works to heat up what's inside. It looks decent and the reinforced edges of the cover are well thought out and also look good. Windows provide excellent cross ventilation. I think this is going to last a while! Cons: Though adequate, the "Instructions" are minimal and might not be easy for some folks. Had to cut the mesh from 2 of the 4 windows in order to allow bees to come and fertilize the plants inside. The (singular) zipper door isn't easy to open or close because the cover doesn't perfectly fit the frame. ... show more

The instructions were vague. The instructions needed more details. There were also a couple of pipes that had to be opened up with pliers so that the screw and bolt could fit together.

    • Frame came slightly damage.
Frame came in slightly damaged. The box was open and left on the sidewalk of my house. It’s very heavy. It’s also very difficult to put together. So difficult I couldn’t put it together. I am disabled so I’m very unhappy with the whole experience.
