I ordered this necktie for my son who is 7. It’s way too big for him. Somehow I missed that it was for ages 12-16 and just saw that it said “Boys”…oops. Hopefully he will still like the color when he gets older. It’s a stunning brilliant blue and has a diagonal texture in the cloth. Overall it feels like an okay quality but doesn’t look or feel overly expensive. It’s also on the narrower side, I’m not sure if that’s currently in style or not. And it comes with a little how to tie a necktie guide which seems like it would be really helpful for the age bracket. It’s also not washable, which is standard for adult neckties but kids’ neckties are often washable, which is great because kids are messy. And it can’t be dry cleaned with tetrachlorethylene. I am so happy with this solid color necktie. It is exactly what I was looking for to keep my son looking polished and professional for his school routine. My son attends an all boys private school and is required to wear a tie every day as part of his uniform. I got this skinny tie not realizing it was for a kid, so I'll give a review on the tie itself, but understand it's way too small for an adult. That being said, it’s a solid buy for the price. The green is super bold and looks dressy, but not too formal. The fabric has a tight weave with a sheen, but not too shiny. It’s sturdy and easy to knot, which makes sense for kids. And it even comes in a nice gift box. I will say that even though it says for "age 12-14-16", it's pretty short.
