Artist's review: I bought this stand for my Samsung Tab S7 FE, to be used mainly for drawing. This was my criteria in my search, and how well the BoYata stand holds up after one month of use and evaluation: 1. STURDY: This stand is nothing if not sturdy. Right out of the box I was thrilled and shocked at the strength required to adjust it. Definitely needs two hands, and please follow the directions and lift/push from the MIDDLE of the stand, rather than the corners. Being aluminum, it is fairly lightweight on its own, but feels delightfully robust, even with a tablet, hefty tablet case, and both hands rested on top. I am able to draw comfortably without worrying about it tilting lower. I plan to use this stand with my 13" wacom tablet when I am back in my home office, and I have no doubt it will be sturdy enough to handle the extra weight. 2. ADJUSTABILITY: The range of motion here is plenty for any reasonable office needs. As an artist, I like to have my tablet raised above the desk surface to reduce hunching, while still allowing my keyboard to remain underneath in it's usual place for an easy back and forth if I need to type. For too long I would have to shuffle my tablet and keyboard around to draw, pushing my keyboard off to the side just to reach the tablet screen. This is the perfect solution. 3. COMFORT / FIT: As this is a stand designed primarily for laptops, I did not expect this category to be a 100%, but I'm pleasantly surprised. The main concern I had was the size of the support thingies. My tablet with no case is 1/4" thick. This leaves a good chunk of support arm sticking out (see 3rd picture). I personally did not find this to be an issue when drawing, though occasionally it could be distracting. But with a case, the tablet fits a whole lot better, almost completely eliminating support arm interference (see 4th picture). In landscape mode, the Tab S7+/FE is 11.21" wide, and it fits perfectly. However, the tablet height in landscape mode (7.28") does leave this particular tablet sitting just below the soft silicone grey pads at the top corners of the stand. Without a case, you definitely risk scratching your tablet and/or the stand. I could hear it scraping unpleasantly when it would shift, but never observed actual damage. The simple and obvious solution is a case. Just keep the potential scratching in mind if you plan to use a narrow tablet au natural. There are a couple extra inches at the top, but that doesn't bother me, and in fact allows me to set my sPen on top without risk of knocking it off (which I would totally do, being the klutz I am). 4. FINAL THOUGHTS: COLORS: If you want true Rose Gold, order "CHAMPAGNE". From the photos, the color option listed as "Rose Gold" looked a bit too saturated or magenta to me, so I opted for "Champagne" and I'm so glad I did. It is the perfect rose gold- any brighter/pinker and it wouldn't vibe with my other rose gold tech accessories. WOBBLE: I saw some reviews mention that the stand has a bit of a wobble to it, which is true if you intentionally jiggle it, but how often are you gonna do that c'mon. Any stand is going to wiggle a bit if you shake it deliberately. Just don't do that and you shouldn't have any issues. I have been using this sturdy and stylish stand for a month and I love just about everything about it. Would highly recommend if you are an artist using a tablet or laptop.

Bought this for my son who is a writer and constantly looking down at his laptop. Starting getting headaches almost everyday!! Not good! One day I was watching him work and saw his neck position and knew that was the culprit. I searched for ideas and came across this Boyata stand. All I can say is: Lifesaver! No more headaches! Plus I'm saving $20 per month on Tylenol (haha)! Compact enough that he takes it with him yet sturdy enough that his laptop is totally safe when in place! Really great item and looks very professional. Very adjustable! When adjusting it feels stiff but it is supposed to. That's how it stays in place so well. Strongly recommended!!

This computer stand is very rigid and well made. Works well with my 17" LG Gram tablet. It is very stiff jointed so it won't drift down as I type. I got this stand so I do not hunch over to use my laptop all day long. It improves my posture by raising screen and and keyboard to the correct height and angle.

Running out of flat surface space because you keep buying new synths and effects? I feel ya. These things *could* help you with that situation. Totally sturdy enough for playing unless you tend to REALLY lean into your music like you're performing in front of a huge crowd and trying to add some theatrical energy [Please don't do that ha ha.] I bought one these to raise up my Arturia MicroFreak a bit above the back of my minilogue XD. That side of my desk is getting crowded, and I wanted easier access to the MF. Once I set it up, I realized that I could create even more space on my desk if I got another for the XD. Now they are both floating above, creating some space for cables, a notebook, whatever on the actual desk surface. And they're completely stable, for my playing style. Just a tad bit of wobble, but nothing that affects my playing in any way. Granted, these are both quite small models in the synth world, so keep that in mind: it's only capable of smaller form factors. But, this item was on sale when I tried it and it was a cheaper and probably better/more flexible solution than some of the modular metal style options that were built for this very purpose. TLDR: As long as you aren't the type of player that slams and smashes on their synths while playing AND you need risers for smaller form-factor devices, like most effects/stomp-boxes + "mini" synths, this could work as a great solution for making your recording studio more space efficient and reclaim some of that flat-surface!

I have an 8lbs laptop and this thing holds it great and looks good! I have it angled and it aligns with my large screen making a 2nd almost seamless looking screen.
