My son Just turned eight and I bought these for his birthday. I really appreciate the simplicity of some of them. I think it's important for children to see that you can pretty much make music with anything, it can gets one t I think outside of the box into more abstract thinking,creativity & excitement! I am so happy with this musical instrument set! This is especially perfect for your 2-4 year olds because there are several pieces that require two hands and that cross body action. Great for children! Not as sturdy as should be. Many musical instruments. Easy on small hands. One item was glued and it broke in less than 24 hrs but we will fix.
