This is a toy. Plastic.. my grandsons love it. However it breaks easily if hit too hard. But the drums come apart so we used plastic lids from bakery products to replace the drum part. Easy to repair

The directions SUCK. It’s not great quality obviously but it works. They are small but so is a 5 year old and it’s fine for him. I don’t want big drums! That’s a terrible idea people. I don’t know if this will help anyone but the directions were so bad because the pictures didn’t match the main drum. Turns out that was on backwards. So I had to unclip everything so just the skin, switch it and reclip it. Then it wasn’t so hard. I wish Chinese products just included pictures instead of a 1/8 written directions. I was able to piece it together from the box but that only had one angle. Anyway, if you can’t figure out how to put it together it likely came out together incorrectly so just take it apart and redo it.     • Don’t waste your money!!!!!
This probably will never be read, but heed my warning and do not purchase this product. I purchased it back in August as a Christmas gift for my son. It comes with no instructions or instructional video on how to put it together. It is made so cheaply that it’s damn near impossible to put together. Once it is together, it constantly falls apart, bass pedal never stays on, single drum falls off its stand, seat comes apart, and after around 2 weeks of him playing with it (we went out of town for a week and a half), it is completely done for. The cymbal has broken off with no way to reattach it, one of the drums split in half down the side, sticks have bent almost completely, the seat doesn’t stay together, the drums constantly fall off the kit. I didn’t expect much with how inexpensive this was, but it is SO BAD. My son loved it for the less than one month he had it, so I may purchase him an actual drum kit. This isn’t worth spending money on. I also recognized I got a used drum because of the scuff marks on one of the drums when I opened it. Sadly it was past the point of returning it and I put it together Christmas Eve so my son wouldn’t be disappointed on Christmas Day. I would give this a zero star rating if I could. ... show more

We bought this drum set for a drummer friend of our who's turning 50. We attached it to a walker and presented it to him as a gag gift. It was the hit (pun intended) of the party! While it was perfect for our purposes, it could be used (for its intended purpose) as a child's toy. It is VERY small, so it's made for a toddler. The stool is TINY and very flimsy, so I can't imagine that holding up for any length of time, but the drums and cymbal actually do make noise, and the quality is pretty decent for $30. Also, the bass drum pedal is pretty hokey. Not sure it would even work. If you are expecting this toy to create the next Neil Purt, you'll be disappointed, but if you have a toddler who just wants to play some toy drums (and you want to take pics to post on Instagram), it's very cute! ... show more
