Price is right, and my 2 year old grandson loves his drums. Very sturdy, easy assembly, but stool is tiny and unusable. I am using his little chair for now, otherwise drums are a nice little musical toy.

The directions SUCK. It’s not great quality obviously but it works. They are small but so is a 5 year old and it’s fine for him. I don’t want big drums! That’s a terrible idea people. I don’t know if this will help anyone but the directions were so bad because the pictures didn’t match the main drum. Turns out that was on backwards. So I had to unclip everything so just the skin, switch it and reclip it. Then it wasn’t so hard. I wish Chinese products just included pictures instead of a 1/8 written directions. I was able to piece it together from the box but that only had one angle. Anyway, if you can’t figure out how to put it together it likely came out together incorrectly so just take it apart and redo it. Once I solved that little issue it took about 15 mins to finish.

This probably will never be read, but heed my warning and do not purchase this product. I purchased it back in August as a Christmas gift for my son. It comes with no instructions or instructional video on how to put it together. It is made so cheaply that it’s damn near impossible to put together. Once it is together, it constantly falls apart, bass pedal never stays on, single drum falls off its stand, seat comes apart, and after around 2 weeks of him playing with it (we went out of town for a week and a half), it is completely done for. The cymbal has broken off with no way to reattach it, one of the drums split in half down the side, sticks have bent almost completely, the seat doesn’t stay together, the drums constantly fall off the kit. I didn’t expect much with how inexpensive this was, but it is SO BAD. My son loved it for the less than one month he had it, so I may purchase him an actual drum kit. This isn’t worth spending money on. I also recognized I got a used drum because of the scuff marks on one of the drums when I opened it. Sadly it was past the point of returning it and I put it together Christmas Eve so my son wouldn’t be disappointed on Christmas Day. I would give this a zero star rating if I could.

I had been wanting to get my little guy a drum set and I found this for his 4th birthday. However, I was not that impressed. When it arrived in a huge box, I went to pick it up like it was going to be heavier than I thought. It felt light as paper and I almost fell backwards down the stairs. I took it down and opened it, concerned there was nothing in there. Thankfully it was, just incredibly light! His dad put it together while little man was sleeping and while we were excited to give it to him, we had concerns about it which were confirmed the next day watching him play it. My 4 year old is on the smaller end of growth charts so he's a little smaller than peers his age. The stool is very small and flimsy, like the drum set. The drums snap on and come off just as easily. It only caused more frustration than anything. We were constantly putting them back on for him until we gave up and now it sits in our basement. This isn't a huge deal, just flares up my OCD, but 2 of the drums writing was printed upside down. We tried switching them around to no avail. The cymbal has also been snapped off by another child who was over. My husband had to screw it back in for it to stay. If you don't mind working your child through frustration with this, and constantly snapping drums back on, then this is for you. If not, don't waste your money on this one. I will be replacing this with a better one. I would've asked for a refund but I didn't want to have to deal with packaging it up.

We bought this drum set for a drummer friend of our who's turning 50. We attached it to a walker and presented it to him as a gag gift. It was the hit (pun intended) of the party! While it was perfect for our purposes, it could be used (for its intended purpose) as a child's toy. It is VERY small, so it's made for a toddler. The stool is TINY and very flimsy, so I can't imagine that holding up for any length of time, but the drums and cymbal actually do make noise, and the quality is pretty decent for $30. Also, the bass drum pedal is pretty hokey. Not sure it would even work. If you are expecting this toy to create the next Neil Purt, you'll be disappointed, but if you have a toddler who just wants to play some toy drums (and you want to take pics to post on Instagram), it's very cute!

I gave the low rating because I purchased 2 of these from great granddaughters. Both stools were not able to be assembled. They have to stand to use which makes to tall. They are both 3 years old. It is cute but since cant put stools together I will have to find something that works. Im pretty sure Im not the first to purchase where the stools are defective. Wont buy for anyone and eill make sure when I buy anything in the future it does not come from this company.

It is a perfect gift for my 6 year old daughter. It's not a real drum but sound quality is good, at least way better than other toy drums. And my daughter thinks its a real one. The stool came with it is very small.
