This review is for the smallest size, 37-in tall. Assembly was not at all difficult. I used a socket wrench with a hex-head attachment, which made it faster, but the included allen wrench is perfectly adequate to do the job. Once assembled, the unit seemed solid and sturdy. I have one cat, about 10-11 pounds, and he loves sitting on the top shelf to both sleep and look out the window. This is all I wanted the tower for. The little "condo" in the middle is really too small for an adult cat. If you have kittens, I'm sure they would use it more, as well as the scratching and climbing surfaces. So, bottom line, I like it and so does my cat. If you have more than one adult cat, you'll probably want one of the larger sizes. All in all I'm very happy with the overall quality. The media could not be loaded. Look at the manual bc it shows which numbers go to which part. All parts are included. My cat didn't use it for a while bc I didn't open the curtains. Also bc he's 17 he needs it to be near a table or bed so he can jump on it from there. He couldn't get to the top the way it's designed otherwise. I'd also measure the space where u want to put it and compare that to the specs. My cat weighs about 14lbs - sometimes 16 lbs and it holds him fine with space for him to lie down. ... show more

This cat tree arrived quickly and as expected. It was very easy to put together and it seems sturdy but I don't have big heavy cats to really put it to the test;). So far there is no wear and tear but my kitten has only "lightly" used it. The anchor strap for securing to the wall is a nice feature that I haven't seen on many tall cat trees. Our cat absolutely loves this tower! The instructions were well written and it did not take long to assemble. For a large majority of the day our cat lays in the top bed, where he is king of the castle. He can look at various windows from the multiple heights this tower provides.

Cat loves to sit in the top and watch the birds all day or take a nap. Thinks he's playing hide and seek in the box in the middle. Uses the scratch post all the time. Very easy to put together, you get everything you need. Worth the price.
