Bought some shorts mid summer to add to my rotation for casual day at work. It was over two months before they were up in the rotation. Had laundered them and put them on. Fit great and really comfortable. Was supper happy with my purchase for about 3 hours. At that point I went so sit down and a 12-14 inch tear opened up, starting where the back pocket attached and split in both directions. Not a good look at the office. Needless to say, work time lost as I scrambled home to change and come back. Ok, maybe just got a bad pair. Reach out to try and replace. No such luck, been more than 30 days sir, so sorry.     • The Ultimate Shorts for Big Guys
Absolutely in love with these pants. DH is very big, very tall man who works a very hard job. He goes through shorts quickly because they tear. We wanted to order something that would be perfect for him and end the Pant-Stress he's been having (haha). THESE ARE INCREDIBLE Material - Sturdy but Lightweight, Seems Breathable Length - He is tall, they come to his Knee and look amazing on him. Waist - The stretchy part at the sides is AMAZING, what a good idea! It fits him very well and doesn't pinch and bunch! Pockets - The pockets all seem really sturdy, and he was impressed by how MANY there are. So far, these are a life-saver, I HIGHLY recommend these shorts. We will be buying more soon. ... show more

I was disappointed with these pants for a few reasons. The waist fits fine but the legs are gigantic. I immediately referred to them in my head as elephant legs. The length is very long so even my knees won’t be cold. The pockets are poorly designed. On each side there are two tiny pockets side by side sharing 1 flap so if I want to get into one pocket the flap is opened for the other one too. Maybe I can hold some change or medication in them. Too small to be very useful. There is a large pocket on each side at the bottom of the legs. It is so far down I can scratch my knees from the pocket. There really isn’t a pocket adequate to hold your cell phone. The small pockets are way too small & the large pockets are so large and far down that the phone bangs loosely against your knees as you walk. The pants are made of a nice sturdy material but I wonder if they are a bit too heavy for summer shorts. O ... show more

Why do big size clothes always assume you are tall? These shorts go 2" past my knees. Also, the primary front side pockets are spear tipped, not square like you would expect in men's cargo shorts. This limits the depth and increases the chance your phone or wallet falls out.

Bought these for mo son. It's hard to find clothes that fit him. We have tried several brands and styles of shorts that did not fit him well. all the same size. These fit him nicely. He is 5 feet 9 in and these are just at the bottom of his knees when he stands. He's comfortable with that. They are made on a fuller cut not tailored so he has plenty of room to move around. This is the second pair that we ordered first pair fit so he threw out the packaging put the shorts on cuz he knew they would fit and then realized there was no belt loop since they don't send extra belt loose we had to take one off an old pair of pants and put it on there since he had already thrown up the packaging even though they're not very expensive it's still hard-earned money to get a product when there's no belt loops ... show more

I've been running around in "sport shorts / gym shorts" for years now during the warm months. Yet it was becoming clear to me I needed to change up my wardrobe. They just don't make them like they use to. My favorite pairs are years old and all the newer stuff lasts a year or two before it's just to worn out. Plus... I've been struggling to keep things of importance in my pockets. My wallet, keys & my phone have been living in my backpack cause they either fall out or weight my shorts down to much. Even without "heavy" things in my pockets, I was fighting a (loosing) battle. Having to hike those shorts up constantly (underwear as well cause it was get dragged down to). It was just inconvenient, frustrating & embarrassing. These shorts... I am totally in love with!!! I've read other reviews complaining about the pockets on these!? Sorry... But really??? Sure, there is a small pocket here and there, but there are more than enough large pockets to carry everything you normally need. And I no longer need to worry about the weight of those things dragging my shorts down. I've been pairing these with basic polo shirts for a totally upgraded look and getting a ton of compliments.
