I've had my Bosu for about 4 weeks now. Is there a problem with my Bosu, or does everyone have to refill their flat Bosu every couple days? UPDATED TO ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I emailed the manufacturer directly, supplied them the receipt invoice from Amazon as well as the serial number on the ball, and they are shipping me a replacement. Well, I loved it until I came home today, July 27, 2017 and found my BOSU completely detached from its frame. It was still inflated but had completely fallen off the base. What???!!! I could have severely injured myself not knowing that this BOSU was about to break. I guess they're not built for durability or longevity. It's not what I thought when I purchased it. I have not even had it for a year. So disappointed. I have seen these BOSU's at the gym being abused and all. I take good care of my things. I don't understand :( ... show more

No pump, no plug, no dvds, no documents included. All I received was the deflated BOSU ball. No inflation pump, and when I found a pump and spent a good while with a hand pump, I realized there was no plug to prevent instant deflation of BOSU ball.

This review is two parts. A bad experience and then a great experience. First the bad. Wanted to get a Bosu ball for my home since using a commercial one at my gym. Nothing beats it for strengthening, isometric and balance exercise. The ball arrived and would not hold air when I pumped it up. Frustrated, I looked at the reviews that mentioned this problem and found the 800 number for manufacturer. Now the good. I talked to a company representative and she immediately processed a warranty for me and I had a new Bosu on my doorstep in two business days. Can't explain why some of these balls are defective but I can say with confidence that the manufacturer stands behind their product. Never held air. My wife pumped it up a couple of times after Christmas, but it was flat the next day. I finally tried it myself as it's been sitting new in the corner of the workout room and got the same result. Too bad I didn't act within the 30 return period. Out a $100 smackers. Not sure if there's any recourse as I'm an Amazon return novice. Seems like a good product, but I guess you're taking a chance as you could end up like I did. Perhaps I fell on the sword for the group and got the defective one out of the way and you'll be good for a while! Happy working-out. ... show more

I should have listened to the comments. I did not receive the DVD, chart, plug, diet guide or 120 page training guide. Yes I double and triple checked the box and packing material. I received a box with the trainer and a pump both in plastic bags. I have not had a chance to try pumping it up or using it since I have no plug and directions. Very disappointing. Now I must roll the dice and see if I can get the missing items or do I need to return it and hope for a better quality check on the next one I get. ... show more

    • Really happy I got the Home BOSU balance trainer and didn't spend more for the Pro BOSU

I really struggled with choosing the best BOSU for me. Is it better for me to get the Home version or should I get the Pro version? I read all the review: I selected the Home BOSU which is indeed perfect. It is well made and sturdy plus it is $50.00 cheaper than the Pro version. I am really glad I chose the Home version. The difference betweens the Home version and the Pro version is the Home version has little rubber stopper feet on the black part to prevent slipping. The rubber dome ball on the Home version is made with 2 lbs less rubber than the Pro version and the box on the home version only says BOSU it does not say Pro nor does it say Home. Also the black part of the Pro version is lined with rubber to prevent slipping and it does not have feet. The thickness of the home version is definitely adequate to prevent it from busting as long as you stay within the weight limits as described. (300 lbs) Some reviews complain that the home BOSU falls apart. If this is a concern for you be careful when you air up your new BOSU. The directions say to fill it to "about" 10" high. However, for me I am filling it to 9.5" which seemed very full. Use common sense. If you are on the heavy side or plan to jump on the BOSU and it seems pretty full at 9" high maybe you don't add the last 1/2 inch of air. Also when you fill the ball make sure that you are holding it level when you take the measurement. You can always add the last 1/2 inch of air if the ball seems too empty when you try it out for the first time. Some reviews complain that the BOSU has a bad odor. Well..... it is a brand new rubber ball. It does have an odor that smells just like a brand new rubber ball. I do wish Amazon would require sellers to give more specific details on which BOSU they are selling. I recommend avoiding venders who do not clearly specify their products. ... show more
